As a vegetarian, I did not get my hopes up about this place and I was not disappointed. There is one non-french fry item on the menu for non-meat eaters and it’s a fried cheese brick.(Not counting desserts of course.) The fries are nothing special though the amount of salt on them is reminiscent of McDonalds in the 80’s and 90’s(read: before people concerned themselves with sodium content!) There is an abundance of sauce options also, though of course even the ones labeled«spicy» are not spicy enough for my Texan tastes. If you like weird, greasy meat items, this is the place for you. If you don’t, don’t bother. The guys who own the place are very nice though so I almost feel bad writing this review. But I can’t in good conscience recommend this place to vegetarian Unilocalers. Sorry! Also the restaurant is tiny. It can seat maybe 12 – 15 people total. There is a to-go window and I’m sure the idea is to serve the drunk crowd late at night! This is the perfect fare for that. As an afterthought, I failed to ask if they cook the fries in animal fat or not. If I grace their doorway again, I’ll be sure to find out and post an update.
