We decided on this restaurant based on the recommendation of the concierge at the Marriott. and we are glad we did. For starters or entrees as they are called on France, my husband had the bone marrow on toast points very tasty and after seeing it numerous times on menus I had to try the poached eggs in meurette(red wine) sauce. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the sauce did not have an overpowering wine taste but added a nice earthy touch to the dish. My 12 year old was in need of some«American» food and ordered the XL bacon burger which stood as tall as his hand. He very happily told us it tasted like an upscale surpersized big mac. My husband’s seafood(prawns, scallops and fish) risotto was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented on a slate plate. My lamb knuckle confit was perfectly cooked but I did not care of the sauce… my preference no reflection of the preparation. There were multiple choices for wine which our waiter made 2 wonderful recommendations. Our favorite by far was the Cote du Rhone Village Domaine Martin AOP. The only think stopping me from a 4 star rating is the television in the main dining room. What could have been a very elegant dinner was overshadowed by a soccer game.
