Just at the entrance of Port Manech beach, is a restaurant that looks like a converted summer house. Stop here for Cidre Breton, and a crêpe while enjoying the perfect view of la plage. Apparently they make world class Mojito’s as well, because there was a big selection of flavors. I opted for the cidre breton(when in Rome). I ordered the crêpe Seguin avec chèvre, jambon cru, tomate et oignon. It was fulfilling, moist and had a slight crunch to the crêpe du blê noire. I was totally happy with the € 8 price, considering the location and scenery, they could have easily gouged a tourist at € 12. Bravo! My only request would be that the filling would be spread evenly in the crêpe. I found most of the procuitto, goat cheese and tomato in the center. Oh and an added garnish of pesto on top was a nice surprise! The service is what you can expect while in Brittany, pretty much non-existent but with a smile. With that said, if you even glance in the direction of your server they will attend to you toute suit! There’s indoor and outdoor seating with large beach umbrellas to offer shade. Oh and there’s plenty of parking á côté de la plage, so bring the family or vos amis and enjoy this little gem.

L Chataigneraie is a lovely restaurant/creperie/glacier overlooking the beach at Port Manec’h. The position is delightful with an astounding view over river and surrounding area. There are plenty of seats outside on a large patio. At various times on our holiday we went for drinks, ice creams, and for dinner. On each occasion our food was delicious and prices not unreasonable for such a prime tourist spot. The only disappointment was the service which could be patchy. It may be a cultural thing but the waiting staff seemed reluctant to take our credit card for payment at the end of each visit and we often had to go chasing them. Overall a brilliant spot to wile away an hour or so out of the sun whilst still enjoying the beach.
