Nice
Un restaurant plein de charme découvert grâce à Unilocal et je né regrette pas. Une cuisine excellente. Un prix de menu entrée plat dessert à 27 euro tout à fait correct. Serveur et serveuse au soin et très sympathique. A renouveler.
Penser à réserver.

Lovely place and the staff is super welcoming but to be honest, it was not that special. The food was delicious but not that unique and I did not feel like it was the best I ever had. We arrived without a reservation on a Monday night which was good and the waiter spoke excellent English although the area is quite touristy and there were many like us. The menu was mixed feelings to be honest, the actual French food like duck foie gras and lamb were ok (not great), where salmon sashimi and risotto which are not necessarily French were amazing… But hey, nice place for a date at a reasonable price.

Definitely the best food we have had in Nice.
After showing up when they were fully booked they still managed to find room for four of us outside.
The service was amazing and the waiter spoke very good English. We had the three course meal which I highly recommend.
If I am ever back I would love to go again.

Highly recommended! Food is really good and the staff is so nice and friendly.
You can choose between 2 or 3 course menu. We had a 2 course dinner for about 22 Euro per person excl drinks. The main course (duck breast) was really tasty, the dessert (chocolate fondant) awesome.

Best food I’ve had in Nice. Admitted, I didn’t eat out at restaurants a lot as I found most to be touristy. Thanks to Unilocal,I found this place hidden in a little corner. It was my last day in Nice and had a flight to get to in a couple of hours. The restaurant owner, Jéan, is a great person to interact with. We got to talking about the US, California and his English is really good too. This was good since I was traveling alone and always welcome conversation.
The food is amazing and the baked cod is unlike anything I have ever tasted. The starter was amazing too– an endive salad with walnut and blue cheese. I didn’t have enough time to try the dessert and was actually pretty bummed.
I didn’t make a reservation but I can see how this place could get crowded. If you’re looking for a good dining experience without it being too hard on your pocket, this place is a must try for anyone visiting Nice.

Très content de ce restaurant que j’avais essayé il y a environ un an. L’accueil est chaleureux et les plats très bons. L’endroit est assez petit, donc il vaut mieux réserver pour être sûr d’avoir une place !

We stumbled onto this place while traversing the tourist madness in Vieux Nice — how fortunate we were that we were able to slip in for dinner 30 minutes later. Our host, Jean, was attentive without being overbearing, and the food was delicious. Plus, berry tiramisu in a mason jar is the cutest thing ever.

Amazing food that should not be missed when in Nice. Flavourful, presented well and service was engaging. After we selected our food we asked for a wine recommendation and it was spot on. A great local place where you can really enjoy the food and your evening!

Phenomenal place for lunch. Make a reservation, but it’s about 17 euros for 3 really great courses. Something like 14 euros for 2 courses. Awesome service, especially if you’re someone who likes free water and bread. Can’t say enough about how good the food was, and the menu changes all the time.
To give you a basic idea, I had:
App: Pork tongue salad w/​traditional mustard
Main: Risotta w/​asparagus and mussels
Dessert: Cheese plate –though people around seemed to favor cheesecake, and there was no lack of options.

We stayed near this restaurant and walk by almost daily, but almost didn’t try this gem because it was such a hidden unpretentious little cozy place in the middle of Vieux Nice.
They change their menu weekly depending on the fresh produces from local market. The menu is pre set with a choice of full course or half course (an entrée + appetizer or dessert).
The dinner starts with some baguette and terrins (pâté), the the choices.
We had stuffed chicken, baked Cod, and risotto with scallops for entrees and plate of cheeses and smoked salmon for the appetizer, and finished with their strawberry tiramisu.
Needles to say we were very satisfied. The presentation, taste, and service were all impeccable.
The only small hassle is that you must make reservation in advance as the place is very small.

We found this restaurant after hearing a couple talk about it on our walk up Castle Hill. Otherwise, we would have missed it, as we did walk past multiple times without noticing. It is very small, though don’t let that fool you.
The service was wonderful. They started out with a complimentary appetizer — pâté type of garnish with bread and toasted bread. That alone was wonderful.
To start, I had a stuffed rabbit dish, which was moist and full of flavor. I then had the cod fish with mussels and cream sauce and my wife had the rissotto with scallops. Very wonderful presentation and the ingredients were all fresh. Both were great dishes.
For dessert, Jessica recommended the chocolate fontan with pistachio ice cream. AMAZING.
It was by far our best meal in Nice.

J’ai été charmé par ce petit resto qui se trouve dans une petite rue en retrait du passage des touristes. La nourriture était bonne et les combinaison de gout agréable en bouche. Bref je vous le conseille.

En week end à Nice, ce resto à été une véritable découverte.
Dans une petite rue du vieux Nice, nous avons trouvé un petit resto sympa, coquet et sans prétentions.
L’intérieur est classe tout en étant sobre, il y a 2salles et une petite terrasse.
L’accueil est au top, à l’image du reste.
À midi le menu complet est à 16 euros.
Il se compose pour l’entrée et le plat de 3 choix: végèt, viande ou poisson.
En entrée j’avais pris du taboulé de quinoa aux moules, en plat du saumon accompagné de petits légumes, et en dessert un tiramisu aux fraises.
Mon saumon était servi dans une petite cocotte staub, j’ai adoré.
Tout était excellent, très fin et original.
Un petit détail …les wc super clean qui sentent bon :-)
Et la cuisine qu’on peut voir en passant ou tout est bien rangé, propre.
Il me semble que le soir le menu est à 25 euros, ce qui reste très correct.

Tout petit, donc oui il faut réserver.
En ce qui nous concerne le couple qui tient ça fut très aimable et les plats raffinés, une bonne soirée.
On avait réservé pour le soir du réveillon (4pers.) on avait versé des arrhes, et on n’a pas pu y aller.
J’ai prévenu assez en avance, et aucun souci, ils m’ont proposé de me retourner le chèque. Classe quand même quand on voir la taille de la salle et la date. Anyway je leur ai dit de garder le chèque et nous y sommes allés quelques semaines plus tard.
Entre 18 et 30 /​pers (entrée plat ou entrée plat dessert) rajoutez le pif et vous y êtes.

Un petit restaurant situé au bout d’une petite ruelle niçoise. Réservation fortement conseillée étant donné que le nombre de tables est assez restreint.
Vous y trouverez des plats basiques mais très bien cuisinés pour un rapport qualité/​prix imbattables (menu à 15 euros entrée plat et dessert le midi).
Le chef est seul en cuisine, et la serveuse seule en salle de ce fait le service risqué d’être un peu long, mais l’amabilité, l’ambiance et la qualité des plats vous feront patienter soyez en sur!

Tout simplement excellent !
A l’occasion de mon anniversaire, direction La P’tite Cocotte avec une dizaine d’ami/ies… Rien à dire, un vrai délice et un service au top ! Le cadre est vraiment sympa (pierres et poutres apparentes). Je leur souhaite de continuer ainsi car rapport qualité/​prix, je né peux pas critiquer et en plus tout est frais ! Rien à voir avec de nombreux restos… Vivement la prochaine occas’ d’y retourner !
