This review is very late! My husband and I dined here in 2013 and it was the best meal of our entire trip to the south of France. I still dream about the food we had here and my husband and I talk about it to this day. We are planning another trip to Nice this year and plan on dining here again. Since it’s been so long, it’s hard to remember what we had but it was all delicious!

Yum! This was our favorite dining experience of the entire trip. It’s the cutest, homiest little restaurant and it basically feels like you’re at a friend’s house. We went for the prix-fixe truffle menu and tacked on a «few» extra dishes. We basically ended up eating at least one of everything on the menu. We started with a cauliflower soup, which was creamy and delicious. We had a super fresh salad with pureed peas, which was delicious too. Then, we had a potato dish that was smothered in cream and dusted with truffles. That again, was delicious. The theme of this meal was that it was delicious. Next, the duck came out. We inhaled that thing because it was so delicious. It was perfectly rare and seasoned amazingly. We also had a basil gnocchi. The gnocchi themselves were kind of gummy but the basil cream sauce was really good. We also had lobster. The broth/bisque that the lobster was served in was so unctuous and creamy and insanely flavorful. The lobster itself was tender and cooked perfectly. For dessert, we had something that resembled a strawberry soup, which was fresh and palate-cleansing. We also had a molten chocolate cake, which was incredibly decadent and awesome. I highly recommend giving this place a visit. It is expensive but totally worth it. Don’t forget to make a reservation, because you’ll need it.
