This place was recommended by a local guide. If you dont want to spend an arm and a leg for an easy meal, and want to avoid McDonalds, this is a pretty good option. The restaurant is located just around the corner from the old Monte Carlo casino(about a 5 minute walk). They offer out door seating. It doesn’t have a view of the fountain so you cant people watch, but you can see the high end cars(Ferraris, Bentleys, etc) go cruising up and down the street along the restaurant. Their offering is mainly Italian cuisine — salads, pastas, pizzas, and a pretty decent meat lasagna(all beef as we were told). The prices are reasonable. The service was friendly towards us, but mixed overall from what we saw. An elderly couple took a seat at the table right in front of us. They ordered 1 pizza(decent size, I’d say its a little larger then 2NY style slices, but at a higher price of course). The waiter then told them they couldn’t sit at the table if all they were going to order is that 1 entrée. He said they’d be happy to serve it to them to go. This caught me by surprise as the restaurant was no where near full. Besides that, the pizza and lasagna we ordered were quite fresh and delicious. The service, a little slow, but that’s to be expected in most places in Europe.
