9Hotel Opera

We were extremely excited to stay with 9hotel. The reviews were wonderful and the hotel from the outside was beautiful. We called ahead and booked a reservation with a very nice gentleman who also was kind enough to take our bags upon arrival as we had lunch plans with new friends.
Upon our return after a wonderful night, the attendant told us we had no reservation and that there were no rooms available. He also refused to give us our bags because he said they didn’t have room tags on them. I had to yell at him to open my luggage and pull out my photos before he would hand them over. VERY disappointed and shocked that such a beautiful location would employee such horrible staff to represent there business!
If you book with them be sure to get as MUCH confirmation detail as humanly possible! Sure it would have been lovely had the staff done their jobs properly!

For our purposes 9Hotel Opera was perfect, the location couldn’t have been better and once we got comfortable on the Metro, the uncomplicated Cadet Metro stop became grand central station for us. We had a great room, super modern, ground level, but everything worked. We were in an out of the building in a jiffy and on our way to explore. The batroom was large, had a towel warming, the room was full of closets and even a Murphy bed, didn’t bring the kid though. The desk clerks were more than friendly, they seemed interested in what we were doing and how we were getting along, as we were not Paris regulats, had been there before, but not for a long time. Paris is sketchy, but I don’t see any reason to have qualms about the neighborhood, plenty of places were open late and while darkish on this half a street, it was just half a block to La Fayette and down a few minutes to Strasbourg area and Flo and Julien’s. (Julien’s was closed for vacation, like a lot of places in August, but plenty of other places were open, more than you needed for sure. Room was well lit, comfortable, and as I say, friendly. A very good spot for the Euros.

hôtel sympa, simple d accès, prix élevé pour la taille de le chambre (chambre double supérieur) 16m2 pour 260EUR sa fait vraiment chère! la salle de bain est petite si vous faite plus 1m85 oublié l idée de prendre un bain, et l isolation phonique des chambres laisse a désiré. Si les chambres était moins chère, je recommanderais cette hôtel mais la je peut simplement vous dire: a vos risqué et péril.

I stayed in (Hotel when I went to Paris 2 months ago. 9 Hotel is a boutique hotel with 35 rooms located in the Opera quarter. It has modern simple décor. I felt very comfortable when I was there. I paid about £120 pounds for a night for a double room, one tiny incident forced me to change room as water was leaking from the shower room into the bedroom. The location is close to a metro station which provided easy access to around town. There is also a bus stop just outside the hotel. The reception staff will be able to advise on what number to take. I would recommend it to anyone.

Letztes Jahr im Sommer waren wir dort, war noch ganz frisch (wie wir gekommen sind, waren sie gerade noch am Bilder aufhängen).
Wirklich schönes Hotel. Zimmer wie üblich klein und laut (besser eines nach hinten raus verlangen, oder ganz oben, da könnte es sich ausgehen, daß man einen schönen Blick über die Stadt hat). Was etwas gestört hat, daß statt einem Kasten nur eine niedrige Kommode mit Kleiderbügel drin war. Macht optisch zwar mehr her, aber ist noch weniger Platz für die Sachen.
Ungewöhnlich für Paris (nach meinen Erfahrungen): tolles Frühstücksbuffet. Alles da in bester Qualität.
Teilweise sprechen sie an der Reception auch Deutsch.
