Barock Hotel

I just wanted check in this hotel today
After 11 hours flight from Los Angeles
The front desk told me the room is not ready Will be ready by around 3 o’clock
So I was waiting in the lobby with my friend… Around 3 o’clock I check with the girls again she told me the room still not ready
At the time to owner step outside to tell me he don’t want to waste his time to talk to me
If I want every son he could give me refund and let me out of the hotel otherwise I should be patient keep waiting
I don’t understand is just a Paris culture or their nature surprises me is he had a Italian last name?

This is a terrible experience since I been visited Paris from time to time
If I have a choice now I really will just take my luggage and walk away maybe another city another country

I would have to agree with the German review in terms of a star rating, although I have no idea what he said :)
We stayed at the Barock Hotel as it was close to where all of our friends live in Paris and was deemed to be reasonably priced. We paid 322 EUR (about $ 425) for 3 nights in mid-​November (by all means low-​season) and overall the hotel experience was below standard.
I’ve been lucky that about 90% of the hotels I have stayed at on trips throughout Europe have been excellent, but this simply falls into the other 10% — tiny uncomfortable rooms splashed with lukewarm service just isn’t my cup of tea!!! — oh and if they claim WIFI, that does not work at all.

Das Barock ist ein kleines vier Sterne Haus im Zentrum von Paris.
Leider habe ich mich ein wenig von der Internetseite blenden lassen, da diese wirklich sehr gelungen ist. Kompliment hierfür.
Eigentlich erwartet man in einem Pariser Hotel kein üppiges Platzangebot, was hier allerdings als Doppelzimmer in einem 4Sterne Haus angeboten wird, ist schlichtweg eine Frechheit.
Ich schätze das Bett auf 1,90m x 1,80m. Um das Bett waren ca. 50 cm nach rechts und links und ca. 80 cm nach unten. Das ist kein 4Sterne Zimmer, auch nicht im Paris.
Auf Nachfrage bezgl. eines Zimmerwechsel wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass alles belegt sei. Über
habe ich dann aber noch mehrere Zimmer buchen (und wieder stornieren können).
Weitere Highlights:
— Das Zimmer kann nicht richtig abgeschlossen werden, nur die üblichen Knöpfe ohne die Möglichkeit der Verriegelung
— Kein Feuermelder in den Zimmern
— Das Bad war sauber, aber alt
— Der Internetzugang war auf unserer Etage nicht möglich
— Parken kostet EUR 26 pro Nacht (ortsüblich), kein eigener Parkplatz
Meiner Meinung nach handelt es sich um ein klassisches 2Sterne Haus. Wenn man 4Sterne Komfort erwartet — Finger weg! Wir haben nach einer Nacht das Hotel gewechselt.
