What a gorgeous restaurant. A tiny hole in the wall decorated with Italian goods and other cute décor touches.
The waitress: so kind, friendly and helpful! I mean, my French is really not excellent and she put up with it with patience and sweetness!
The food: so so stunning Italian! We had s fresh antipasto platter to share and then got massive servings of pasta. Mine was baked with tomato, but there was a zucchini and speck and a lovely looking pesto one.
Though, we were told that the menu changes depending on fresh and local produce, so you may not get to order what we did– nevermind, I’m sure it will be delicious!
We had a refreshing lemon granita for dessert. But there was a tiramisu on offer too which sounded fab.
I highly recommend Altove– they are a newbie but I am sure they will become a local favourite in no time.

A lovely, adorable, tiny Italian restaurant with an ever changing menu, friendly staff and excellent food. Perfect for almost any occasion, and one of my favourite places in Paris.

En cherchant un endroit où manger, à 22h, nous sommes tombés sur ce petit coin d’Italie…
Un petit restaurant intime, avec un coin traiteur et une vitrine alléchante (provolone, mozzarella fumé, etc).
On y trouve une cuisine familiale, avec une carte restreinte, puisqu’ils cuisinent des produits frais et de qualité (qui arrivent directement d’Italie), et qui change quasi tous les jours. Ils importent également leurs vins…
L’accueil fut très sympathique mais malheureusement pour nous, plus possible de manger sur place, il aurait fallu réserver. Donc nous avons pris à emporter…
En entrée, des antipastis (aubergines, courgettes, haricots verts à la tomate, carottes marinées, fenouil braisé, champignons, olives, roquettes); en plat, une part de lasagne au jambon fumé et une part de pâtes du jour (champignons, je crois) ainsi qu’une bouteille de vin rouge nommé «Shérazade».
Bön, vu qu’on est rentrés tard, je n’ai goûté les pâtes que le lendemain midi. Et une fois réchauffées les lasagnes étaient trop salées pour moi (c’est peut être dû au micro-​onde…), mais les pâtes du jour étaient bonnes.
En résumé, un lieu qui promet un moment sympathique et convivial, avec une nourriture simple.
Au prochain spectacle dans le coin, on réservera surement.
