only the absolute best baguette in Paris. i stopped experimenting with other boulangeries after i tried around 10 others. simply the best, most perfect baguette you’ll ever have.

After almost a year of trying a series of surrounding boulangeries in the 8^th and 17^th arrondisements, and believe me there are many, my wife and I now buy our croissants, pain-​au-​chocolats and baguettes here almost every Saturday. Sometimes, if I’m lucky, during the week, my wife will also make me a baguette sandwich using their bread and walk it down for a quick lunch date. They rarely disappoint, and we both appreciate that there seems to be a regular group of employees there. They also often reach out for the fresh out of the oven products rather than the ones sitting under the window, but maybe that’s because they enjoy my poor attempts to practice French.
Overall, highly recommend. The bread has serious lasting power, the croissants are flaky and layered, and the pain au chocolats consistently have that goo factor I love.
Unfortunately, Be is closed on Sundays, which leaves us with a series of poor alternatives to settle for. But it also serves as a constant reminder when we are forced to go elsewhere, how much better it is at Be.

This was our goto place while we were staying at Arc de Triomphe, loved it. Really enjoyed it, both times we took it emporté, and ate at a park or waking. Great baguettes, Croissants, and all the other nonsense or group got. Really awesome, have had better in Paris but not by much.

une idée DUCASSE, boulangerie et épicerie de luxe, un accueil plus pressé qu’empressé, mais des idées de déjeuner dans l’idée de la dinette avec originalité et gout, mention spéciale aux coquillettes jambon et truffe.
Le pain est bon et on trouve toujours une nouveauté pour varier son déjeuner

Grumpy boulanger makes decent sandwiches at a good price. I got yelled at for taking photos of his King’s Cakes. But, I also got a sandwich and drink for lunch for only 5.70 €. Not bad given the neighborhood. My only complaint with the sandwich is that, for whatever reason, they put the vegetarian sandwich on the plainest bread possible. They had lots of great sandwich choices and really wonderful-​looking breads. So, why did they choose the plain, boring baguette for the veg sandwich? Do people think vegetarians like to eat bland food? I don’t get it. Regardless, not a bad place for a quick lunch.

Vous pouvez déguster un Parisien à 4EUR85. En deux bouchés vous vous mangerez les doigts.

Un jour, après une visite dans l’Église orthodoxe de la rue Daru, je me suis arrêtée dans cette boulangerie-​épicerie. Pas par hasard mais parce qu’à travers la vitrine on aperçoit des paniers remplis de brioches, croissants, muffins, de quoi rapidement donner l’envie d’y faire un tour !
Et une fois à l’intérieur, on n’est pas du tout déçu ! Côté épicerie, je reconnais l’aspect banal et peu attrayant: sandwiches-​salades basiques.
Mais côté boulangerie: un vrai petit paradis ! des viennoiseries à profusion qui paraissent –et qui sont– sortis du four, moins gras qu’à la boulangerie du quartier. J’ai opté pour un traditionnel coca light dont je né peux me passer et un muffin au chocolat. Pas le muffin qu’on trouve dans toutes les chaînes, sans réelle saveur, mais le «muffin délice «! Il ressemblait à un moelleux, il fondait dans la bouche, une impression de «muffin fait maison par maman «.
Finalement, une boulangerie-​épicerie qui a du copier le concept de Paul mais en mieux réussi car l’endroit est calme, on s’y sent bien, et les vendeurs né s’agitent pas partout. En espérant que ce petit coin agréable né se transforme pas en grosse machine à sous à la Paul, j’y retournerai !

Endroit rigolo. Mi épicerie, mi boulangerie.
Le pain est très bon et les produits dérivés aussi…
Surtout les petites salades à manger sur place ou a emporter… Ou encore les desserts assez originaux.
Un bemol pour l’epicerie un peu surfaite… mais bon, on y va quand mème avec plaisir…

La Boulangerie /​Epicerie fine de Ducasse.
Quand le pain Be (prononcer bé ou bi suivant l“humeur) sort du four, c’est une preuve de l’existence de Dieu.
Grande variété de pains, tous délicieux (mention spéciale pour le pain au figue).
Je suis un peu moins convaincue par l’épicerie, un peu chère et inégale. On peut déjeuner sur place.
