Fantastic location, and the staff were all very helpful. It’s not super fancy, but we are not the kind who need fine china and linens in our rooms because we are always out on the town anyway. Super close to wonderful restaurants, markets, Notre Dame, great cafes, and more. Hey, it’s on the left bank, after all! Great affordable treat.

This is one of the worst hotel services I have ever encountered. Seriously. I stayed there for 11 days that’s a long time. I forgot my traffic ticket there I put it in the drawer. I come back 4 days later and ask nicely if someone has turned in a ticket the lady with short blonde hair and glasses looks at me in disgust and answers no. She doesn’t even look at all literally just says no. Then I repeat telling her it is very important and if she could please look. She again doesn’t care one bit and starts being even ruder telling me NOITSNOTHERE. And really starts to yell at me. Then she asks me if I’m still staying at the hotel, I say no. She proceeds to tell me that this isn’t a public place and to please leave. I literally asked her twice if she has seen my ticket. I know French service is notorious for sucking but this is a different level especially for someone working in HOSPITALITY. I can’t even pay my traffic ticket or figure anything out because I’m not in the U. S I really dislike this hotel with a passion. Besides that the room was small and fine for two people.

Great location and good value for a family budget hotel. Don’t expect a huge suit, but the rooms are clean and comfortable. Our standard rooms easily accomodated 2x adults and a small child. Bath and toilet in each room.

Typical small European room. Beat up and uncomfortable furniture. Bed so short my feet hang off the end. Noisy. Good location.

Another lovely little 3-star hotel in a great location, which is just off the Carrefour de l’Odeon on the Blvd. St. Germain. It is a 5 to 10 minute walk, via the rue Dauphine, to the Pont Neuf on the left bank of the Seine. This makes the Ile de la Cite, Notre Dame cathedral and the Louvre just a 15 minute walk from the hotel. The Odeon metro station(on line 4) is also a two-minute walk in the opposite direction. In short, it is ideally located for exploring all the major attractions in Paris. The rue de l’Ancienne Comedie is a great little street with plenty of eating and drinking establishments to cater for all requirements. The renowned Le Procope is next door and Pub St Germain is next door but one. Close by are Café le Conti, a kebab take-away, a chinese/sushi resturant and a sandwich/coffee place. There is a supermarket(Fran Prix on rue Mazarine) and a pint-serving ‘English pub’(The Mazet on rue St Andre des Arts) — both literally just around the corner. The Carrefour de l’Odeon, where the metro station is located, is graced with two highly rated resturants(le Comptoir and les Editeurs) as well as handy little bars, cafes and take-aways(Stratto, Snack Time etc etc), a news stand and quite a few cinemas, if that’s your thing. The hotel is a fine Best Western 3-star with friendly, English-speaking staff. The rooms are on the smallish side but reasonably well-appointed. There is a lift and a breakfast room but no bar. The rates are very reasonable, coming in at around 200 Euros for a double per night.
