Best Western Hotel Opera d’Antin

Not what we were expecting at all! This gem of a hotel was not only convenient, it was a big surprise for a Best Western and being in Europe!
Let me explain … we booked this on Priceline. We have been to Paris before. Hotel rooms in Paris are TINY! The last room we stayed in, well … the bed barely fit in the room! When we were assigned the Best Western Hotel Opera d’Antin, we were concerned. We were only in Paris for one night — it was an 18 hour layover between Madrid and Bucharest. It was to be the ultimate date night. Yes, Priceline and date night — I said it. Well, we arrived at Charles de Gaulle Airport (for those that have not been there … HUGE place and not always the easiest airport to make your way through) … original plan was to take the train, however we were given the option of taking the Roissybus (
) — well, surprisingly, one of the best moves we did! Much cheaper (10 Euro) and in about 60 minutes, you are brought steps away from the Opera. No train stations to navigate your way up and down stairs or escalators. The ride was also very nice — got to see «the other side» of Paris and all of the little shops that are not as touristy.
Back to the hotel. Arrived late and the front desk clerk was super friendly. She offered assistance on where to go — and made sure we were happy. We went to our room, and thou it was over looking a closed courtyard, the room was very comfortable. Very large bathroom and shower. The bed was super comfortable. The room was very clean.
The room has the new «eco lights», so you had to insert your room key in the slot to turn them on — OK, this might have been a helpful thing to have been explained, but we figured it out.
I highly recommend this hotel. Do not be scared it is a Best Western. I am a travel agent and could not have made a better choice for our romantic night in Paris.

On y peut dormir
Et bien c’est propre, l’accueil sympa, sur demande un copieux petit déjeuner est servi à la chambre, ma chambre était un peu juste pour le grand lit double. Rien à plaindre, c’est près des Grands Magasins.

J’ai eu l’occasion d’aller dans des Best Western mieux tenus et plus agréables. Question qualité-​prix c’est pas génial mais pour une nuit pourquoi pas
