Boulangerie des Deux Ponts

Une étoile seulement pour les produits car malheureusement le personnel est exécrable c’est juste une honte. Des vraies tavernières frustrées de leur métier. Dommage pour les personnes réellement passionnés.
Franchement il faut changer cette équipe de toute urgence et y mettre des boulangères un brin aimable et à ce moment là les étoiles grimperont ;)

Omg. Delicious!!! Took the advice of one of the other reviewers and walked over to grab a croissant and baguette.
I went home and dove right in. The croissant was flaky, soft, moist and not like what you get in the US. Same with the baguette. Chewy, but soft with a hit of crunch at the end. Wow. The best I’ve had to date.
Shop owner was so sweet. So nice and was patient with me since I do not speak French. She ended my purchase with a sweet thank you.

Really high quality baked goods, you can’t go wrong here. Reasonable prices and friendly.

Croissants et pains au chocolat catastrophiques, au feuilleté de carton avec un mauvais goût de margarine bien persistant. Mon copain était avec moi, nous les avons jeté tellement ils étaient immangeables (mais bien chers quand même). Quand je suis retournée me plaindre (oui je fais ça quand je né suis pas contente), j’ai eu droit à des «ah bon?» bafouillants, mais ni excuses ni remboursement. A éviter absolument.
Disastrous croissants and pains au chocolat, the layering is cardboard like and thy give off a very persistent margarine taste. My boyfriend was with me, they were so bad (though pricey) we ended up throwing them away. When I went back to complain (I do that), all I got was a hesitant «oh really?», I didn’t obtain an apology, lest alone a reimbursement. Avoid this place at all costs.

La rénovation a rendu la boulangerie plus moderne. toujours de tres bonnes baguettes, toujours des boulangers tres sympathiques. on reste dans le coté tres amical de la boulangerie des deux ponts, avec en supreme, un tres bon Hot Dog !

This is a wonderful small bakery on the Ile Saint Louis. The baguette tradition is great, as are the croissants, but my personal highlight are the «croissants amande» (with almonds), that must be the best I have so far found in Paris.
