Cactus Hôtel

It was somewhat bare bones but nice in a no-​frills kind of way! It’s a relatively safe neighborhood and close to everything in walking distance. The metro station is less than a 5 minute walk (Volontaires) There had been a bit of a communication error in our accommodation reservations (I admit, it was my fault!), but the Cactus had rooms available at the last minute and we were relieved to have had a place to sleep for two nights. The hotel front-​desk clerk was gracious despite our broken French. It is a great value as well! I enjoyed the continental breakfast that was provided before we headed out and toured the lovely city. Baguette, French butter, jam, and coffee — that’s all I need to start my day! I will always remember Paris in the springtime…
