There is never a reason for rude service… old school french or not! We’re the ones who keep you going and treating people with disrespect is not the answer. We had a bottle of wine(served in a water glass because we didn’t order a bottle that was good enough to get a proper wine glass)! Horrible horrible horrible.

Very«Paris» café on the Champs, typically abrupt service and attitude with the people watching HOWEVER, the BEST French fries we have ever had, EVER. Perfectly Crispy AND puffy. We don’t understand how they do it but we’ll be dreaming of them forever. FOREVER! The coffee was selfish too. Was tempted to order. If you need to rest, stop here and try those magical fries. You won’t regret it.

Let’s do a pro and con list. PROS ===== –Has a patio –Steady business due to busy street –Decent service CONS ===== –Dirty/sticky menus –Average food Bottom line: If you’re looking for a classier diner feel, this might be the spot for you. But don’t set your expectations too much higher. The duck dish we ordered were over cooked, the crepes were dry, and while the escargot was alright, it was nothing to rave home about.

This was a good stop on the champs-elyses for a nice dinner. We had quite the variety in our group. Chicken with curry and coconut * Beef Borg’ * Pasta with red sauce. All the food was really good. The service staff was very attentive, great with tourists and helpful.

Walking down the popular long shopping streets and enjoying the crowds, we finally found a place to dine and seek some warmth out of the cold weather. Worrying that food might be on the high side at this tourist place, we diligently search through our mobile applications and visited Café George V for dinner. They have both indoors and Alfresco dining just that during the cold seasons. Worry not if you are in the cold weather, the retractable awning fell in place with the mounted heater will keep you away from the cold even if you are dining outside. We had our seats indoors and had a good time experiencing the bustling life of the café in the city. Though the table and seat maybe a tad narrow for 2 of us in our bulky cold wear and camera bags, we still manage to make ourselves comfortable even at awkward position. We had ordered Onion Soup and was excited about it. Felt a sense of contentment to have soup in the french lion head soup bowl. Simply love its caramelized onion and the sweet meat stock served with generous amount of cheese on top. Soupe gratinee a l’ oignon ~ Onion Soup — 10.0 € As we were without drinks during shopping, the Strawberry shake was emptied soon it was served. Pretzel biscuits was served together with the milk shake too. Strawberry Milkshake — 10.0 € The first time that I have seen steak pairing with sunny side up eggs. Minced steak was surprisingly cook to its perfect texture at our preferred done-ness with thick cut fries and salad as sides. Dressing for salad is separately placed and you can add them accordingly to your liking. Steak hache oeuf a cheval(salers) 200g frites — 17,50 € Steak(Skirt steak Angus) 200g meat was tougher as compared to the former. However they have additional charred flavour here and was seen very well controlled under the fire. Sides like french fries and salad were similar. Steak(bavette Angus) 200g frites — 17,50 € Service was prompt and friendly. Visit was overall a satisfying one!

3STAR for food + 1 for Service — To be honest, food is really just 3 stars; but the waiter’s enthusiasm and jolly attitude does deserve an extra star if that should be counted for food choice… At a busy tourist district, cheap is definitely not a word you can use to describe this place; but at least it wasn’t unreasonable. Main ranges between € 13-€ 20 which is not unreasonable and with that you get a generally big enough portion. My complaint would be that my escargot was under seasoned by a little and my beef stew the meat was a tat over cooked(hence why I said 3 stars for food).

Went for dinner. Terible place. Prices are rediclous. 35 euro for a steak and 7.50 for a bottled diet coke. Everything was way over priced. This is a 100% tourist trap. There are a lot better places around the area that won’t rip you off. This place servives on tourists. Stay away absolutely not worth the money. A TOTALRIPOFF.

Complete waste of time! Save yourself the trouble, and go a few doors down to Café de Vesuvio. I have never had such poor treatment from any bartender in France let alone the states. I took a glance at a menu affixed to the bar that contained wine that was missing for my menu; and you would think I personally offended the jerk. He proceeded to tell me in French«I couldn’t read and it was included. It must be my American brain.» Definitely, not a winner. Steer clear!

Un peu de décence quand même !!! 4,20 euros the espresso, cold we asked the Waiter to serve us another one. His answer? All I can do it´s to put your coffee in the micro-wave… Oh my God !!! 4,20 the coffee we may be stupid to Pay this price but please don’t insult us.

Just grabbed drinks here so I can’t speak for the food. It’s on Champs Elysees near the Arc de Triomphe. All I can really say about it is that the waiters are handsome, the place is absurdly overpriced and service is ok. Bathrooms are in the basement.

This place has a great selection to choose from. If you have to choose between outdoor and indoor seating, I recommend indoor seating. If you’re not a fan of carcinogenic air and don’t like the feeling of getting lung cancer then indoor is better suited. Otherwise you’ll be swarmed with the second hand smoke you’ll be inhaling while attempting to enjoy your meal. From my experience the service was horrible. Extremely slow. I spent nearly a full half hour before I even received a menu. I was seated at the same time as another couple and they had their entreés by the time I even received a menu. Nearly a full hour and a half for lunch. That may be normal to some however, not for me. Food wise the Burgundy Escargot was great. I’d highly recommend it. Especially if you’re a tourist like myself that is always willing to try new things most of all food wise. You won’t be disappointed. I didn’t think I’d enjoy it as much as I did. You’ll be surprised how good they are. Next was a Croque Monsieur and Croque Madame. Both were good. However, the best I’ve ever had was in the Tuileries Bar at The Westin. Trust me. It will be the best Croque Madame you’ll ever have. And if not. Perhaps you’d be so kind as to reveal the place you believe is better.

I’d give them zero star if possible. The food was average at best. The service was good up until you finish paying and bam! The famous French rudeness comes out. I was having an okay evening up until I paid and went to the washroom. I came out and all of a sudden, the servers turned assholes! I was waiting for me wife to come out and the guy just wanted to kick me out of the restaurant. I guess their business wasn’t built on repeat customers.

Decided to stop here after a long walk around Champs Elysées. We got the escargot(good), a chicken pizza(surprisingly big and filling) and a salad(average). The 2-stars I’m giving is mainly for the atmosphere of the place and the staff’s attitude. Let me first say that the restaurant was CRAMMED. We were sitting outside in the patio, and the owner had decided to pack as many tables in there as possible, so we were basically touching elbows with the people beside us. There was no space to put down our bags, let alone sit comfortably. Unfortunately we were seated beside two men who smoked and the smell was making us a bit sick. We asked our waiter if we could move to a table that was a bit further back, since it wasn’t being used, but he told us it was reserved. Alright… can’t you just give them our table then? Pretty sure he just wanted to keep his tip since he wouldn’t have served us had we moved. The two men, having overheard our conversation, kindly apologized and put out their cigarettes, only to light up another one two minutes later. Well. Our waiter told us he would find another table that we could move to, but nothing ever came of that, though several tables were empty/opened up. We ended up finishing our meal as fast as possible just so we could leave. Overall, extremely uncomfortable meal and wouldn’t recommend.

I had the escargot and Beef Bourguegnion and both were amazing. Our waiter also recommended a red wine that paired beautifully with the meal. Service was outstanding! We had a very attentive waiter that made great recommendations, brought us wifi password without us asking for it and kept checking on us throughout the meal. Best French food and service we had in Paris!

Came here twice during my stay in Paris, a week ago. The first time I was there, I ordered the minced beef, with the egg on top, alongside frites, bc Paris, duh! The second time I came back was because I knew the food would not disappoint… and it didn’t. Yes, certain items on the menu can be pricey, but overall the quality is good, and the service is decent. Stopped by here for late lunch with wife. Overall, good food and service. I wouldn’t say the most friendliest place, but what is in Paris. Had the Rib Eye for 2, but the portion is no where near for 2, but maybe for Paris standard it is. Couldn’t really complaint since the price was not too bad. Wife had the grilled Scallops and were so good. Actually, haven’t had any bad scallops in Paris so far. The wine prices were reasonable, as long as you don’t go for the super premium ones. Had a bottle of bordeaux and was good a price at 26 eur. I know this is important to the ladies, the restrooms are clean.

I decided to give this spot a try when I saw how packed it was from the outside. Server greeted us instantly and spoke English very well. Very attentive & friendly! I ordered the steak frites, medium well, and though it may not have been the very best, it was pretty good! It came with a good amount of fries and the steak was a pretty big portion. Overall, the food is pretty basic, but the service and location is what made the experience enjoyable!

This is a cute little restaurant located at the bottom of the four seasons hotel. Its surrounded by all the high end shops and perfect for people watching. We came here around lunch time. I ordered the beef tartar and one of their signature cocktails. My meal came with a side of fries. The plate was plenty for one person as a meal or for two to share as a light bite. The beef was seasoned perfectly! The fries could have sat in the frier a little longer because they were a bit soggy and limp in texture. Our server was incredibly friendly and helpful. From point of ordering to point of receiving food was in a very decent amount of time. The prices are a little higher than they should be but this was a higher end area so the raise of price is expected. Overall this was a good restaurant. I would definitely recommend stopping in for a light lunch or a drink.

A bientot.
