Café Matisse

Loved the quiche in this cute little restaurant that had very nice service and location away from the tourist frenzy.

A little gem in the 9^th arrondissement. Serves simple, delicious lunches at a very affordable price. What’s best is the changing selection of home-​made tartes and quiches, which are served with a simple salad. They also do croques and other snacks. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere where you can have a nice sit-​down lunch, brunch or early dinner with your friends without breaking the bank. You can also ask for dishes to take away. Because some of the tartes are veggie, this is also a handy spot for mixed groups of vegetarians and omnivores — not always an easy task in Paris!
Petit bistro avec une liste de tartes maisons qui change tous les jours. L’ambiance est détendue, un peu rustique avec des serveurs sympas. Choix végétariens et surtout bon rapport qualité-​prix.
