Don’t come here if your looking for good service… had to constantly call a waiter to get any service at all. Our waitress was rude as well. We kept having to «bother her» and ask her for something only because they never come ask if it’s okay or if you need anything or even if you want to order. When I asked for something, she didn’t even say okay she just walked away, then took a good 8 minutes to bring it back. You also apparently cannot order a burger any other way than how it originally comes with everything on it.

We mainly chose to eat here due to its proximity to the tower(possibly a warning sign) I ordered the steak and fries with bechemel. The bechemel came out cold and in a little container and my steak was very rare when I ordered it cooked medium. I sent it back, the cook cut it in half and cooked it very well done. It was gross. My boyfriend got the chicken sandwich, it is just that. A chicken sandwich with a slice of processed cheese. We were very disappointed that they expected us to pay the full price of the steak(32) when I obviously didn’t enjoy it. By the time we were going to pay I guess our waiter went home… so we tried to tell the manager how brutal my steak was and she defended it as a «language difference» when our waiter spoke perfect English and just arrived to Paris two weeks ago lol. We were very disappointed as it was our first night in Paris and it left a terrible taste in our mouth(literally and figuratively). The worst meal we had on our one month Europe trip.

Overall positive experience. I ate there 3 times. Great from coming late to your hotel from a long flight. Mercure and Pullman hotels are across the street. It’s nice that its walking distance. They know some English but we spoke french. Food in Paris is overpriced in general but at least in this place it’s good. Average tab $ 60 to $ 70 euros per person for dinner.

What a frustrating place. I had my hotel concierge call this place which is across the street from my hotel Pullman Tour Eiffel(they are extremely accommodating by the way) to see if I could get onion soup to go. I understand this is unusual for Paris which is why I had my hotel call, which is literally across the street, for me so they could speak French to the manager, and the Pullman went out of their way to provide me with a take away container which the restaurant did not have. Upon arrival at the restaurant I was told by the manager they could not accommodate my request even though my concierge had spoken with them about 2 minutes before. Not sure what changed in the 2 minutes it took me to get there. I had eaten there a few days before during the day and the female manager was very nice and seemed to enjoy foreign clientele. This was a jarring experience for a place that had previously treated Americans so well. The food is okay, it is overpriced but so is everything in the area. Apparently the service is so hit or miss and with many other cafes in the area it’s not a place I would recommend. While great service isn’t something you should expect in Paris the manager was quite rude when he found out I was foreign. Not a place I would recommend under the best of circumstances.

Went here while staying at the Pullman right around the corner. It’s about a block from the Tour Eiffel which is nice. There is outdoor seating as well as indoors. It was clean, staff was friendly, prices were affordable, and the food(and wine) was all good. The escargot was quite good as well as the duck confit. Will definitely consider going back on our next trip.

Tourist spot located right by the Eiffel Tower. I sat outside for a quick bite. The sandwiches are pretty good but it’s a hefty amount. I got the Italian sandwich– high quality meat and shredded cheese with some arugula. I also got the cheese board for a starter– not impressed– wouldn’t recommend. The Crème brûlée was average, kind of the burnt side. I wouldn’t recommend coming here unless you’re trying to save time and looking for food by the Eiffel Tower, which was what I was trying to do. I def think this place is geared for tourists especially the prices.

Went here 3+ times. the BREAD is amazing. Sandwiches rock. It is the only place near the Eiffel tower where 95% of the service is friendly and makes it amazing. There is a lady with short white hair, not very friendly. the rest are amazing. They do a real GLOBAL breakfast, not cigarettes and espresso, they have real amazing lunch and the atmosphere always makes it super cool.

Right behind eifel. Awesome outdoors seating with plenty of space. Very friendly and attentive english speaking staff. Escargot. Fantastic. Such a difference from the states. Plump and juicy and tender. The right balance of clarified butter, garlic, and finely minced parsley. Really well executed. Croc madame was very nice. Deconstructed version with the easy egg on top. Served with a side salad. Cheeseburger was excellent. «Medium» might seem raw to some Americans, but it was delish nonetheless. I trust the beef here more than the states, so the undercooking didn’t bother me. Great little lunch spot by the eifel with great food, service, and people watching.

The only reason I give them 2 stars is their crème brûlée, other than that, bad food and horrible customer service I have ever experienced. They need to learn how to treat their customer in a good manner. The waitress that served my table who has short blond hair acted like she has PMS. I usually leave tips at all restaurants I went to but this is the only one I didnt leave tip. Stay away from this café folks…

Food is mediocre at best. It’s way overpriced relative to the quality and portions. I ordered the salmon(24 €) and was unpleasantly surprised by the 4 oz nugget that was delivered to the table. Besides being a smaller portion than what my 3 yr old normally eats, the salmon was way over cooked. I normally do not send meals back, but after a couple bites, it wasn’t worth trying to finish. To his credit, the server was polite and put in a new order without any argument. Unfortunately the salmon came back completely rare on the second try. I would have rated this place 1 star, but the appetizers were decent.

We’ve eaten here twice in the past week and would rate it a 4 but for wait staff. Evening staff was very pleasant and accommodating but lunch staff clearly did not want to serve us. Moved us from chosen sidewalk seat stating it was only for lunch guests — which we explained we were — then promptly sat and waited on another couple at that same table before taking our order. How is it that some people just decide they don’t like you? Even if that is the case, how are they, and their management, too obtuse to recognize that it does not have a favorable impact on business — or tips!

Great place to grab some breakfast since it’s open early(0700). Since lots of Paris attractions don’t open until 0900, it would be nice to arrive here around opening and relax before catching the metro/bus to your destination. Why does it seem that lots of servers in Paris just don’t like foreigners? This is basically the same thing I have to say for another café: Café Constant. At Chez Ribe, I like the way they make their scrambled eggs and the croissants were warm/buttery/tasty.

Tourist trap. Mediocre food. Pizza is served with fries. Huh? The waiters were pretty friendly. 8,70EUR for 46 cl of Coke. The highest price I have ever paid for a soda.

The Food here is not that bad, and the waiters are only moderately Rude. I was quite satisfied with the meal here until we were attacked by the Owner or perhaps one of the waiters on the way back from the Eiffel tower. We simply wanted to take a picture of the menu. One of their waiters or perhaps the owner, came over and stood in front of the sign and accused us of wanting to steal their menu!!! Talk about rude and Stupid. If they’re doing they’re job right, the menu should be online anyway. Watch out, these people hate Americans, or perhaps, just hate their customers!

Great location if you want to be near the Eiffel Tower. I had a 3 course dinner and it was good. I started with a french onion soup. had salmon and spinach in an amazing butter sauce, and had a dessert with apples and ice cream. Ice cream in France is on a whole other level. Our waiter was super nice.

We found this place after we hanging out near the Eiffel tower. We were a little hesitant to go in at first because it seemed very touristy and the menu had«cheeseburgers» on it. we didn’t think an authentic french restaurant would serve cheeseburgers but we decided to try this place anyway because it was the best one we could find in the area. We ordered the escargot, french onion soup, and veal. All turned out to be delicious! The service was pretty fast at the beginning but it took us a good 20 minutes to get our check. –1 star for the slow service at the end.
