We stumbled on this restaurant after following the recommendation to go to one of the restaurants down the street. We are thrilled we chose Cosy instead. Best French onion soup and cheeseburger in Paris. We went to others that Unilocal and trip advisor recommended for those items, but this was better — by far!

Our first night in Paris, and we had taken a fun cruise on the Bateaux Mouches, and were hankering for some vittles around 10pm. The restaurants near our hotel were no longer serving dinner, but we stumbled into a little wine bar we had spied earlier near the Weston Place Vendome that seemed to be hoppin. They no longer had dinner, but we were able to order up a hamburger and a planche(plank) of charcuterie(cheeses and meats on a board) and immediately felt at home. A brilliant Pouilly Fuse white wine was served with the meal, and a tart lemonade! The cheeses and meats were delicious, particularly the pâté! The only reason I don’t give four stars, is we never tried the real menu other then the hamburger, which was fabulous! The chef Benjamen made us feel at home, and we stopped into this relaxing place whenever our late museum viewing hours allowed it. The whole tab came to 38 Euros, which is very reasonable in this neighborhood! We were always too late to try their tapas, but we shall return. A great value and at home feeling in an upscale neighborhood, Cosy lives up to its name!
