Dupain

Dupain is a little gem! I had stopped by once during my vacation in Paris and it was such a breath of fresh air… fresh bread! The selection was minimal but they had plenty of each type. I was only looking to purchase a traditional baguette and some croissants, but stumbled up this treasure of a caramelized apple pie.
The baguette was perfect. The crust was musical and the insides were fluffy and melted right in my mouth. The croissants were super flaky, that the crumbs had fallen on my lap like Christmas snow. But the apple pie had stole the show. The filling was just phenomenal. I had other apple pies from other bakeries, but the fact that this was caramelized, put it above the rest.
If you’re a fan of minimalist interior designs, or just have an appreciation for cafes, Dupain is definitely one to visit. It’s super chic, clean, and just like their product, beautifully crafted.

So glad that my friend and I stumbled upon this great boulangerie whilst out and about in the Marais when I was in Paris last week. We were there around closing and all they had left were orange and chocolate mousse tarts but they were DELISH! I bought home 9 packets of their butter and chocolate chip cookies for work colleagues. Visit this place when you’re in Paris!

Dupain est une nouvelle boulangerie qui vient d’ouvrir sur le boulevard Beaumarchais, face au Merci concept-​store.
Avec sa devanture tout en verre, et très design, on est curieusement attiré par ce joli établissement.
La déco est superbement épurée, il y a quelques tables au fond pour déjeuner sur le pouce.
Les pains sont bons, mais je n’ai pas encore goûté aux patisseries.
L’accueil pourrait être un poil plus chaleureux.
