Hideout Beaubourg

Irish Pub serving tex-​mex food!!!
Whatever, it’s the closest pub to Gare De Nord, literally across the street and I’m here to drink so nevermind their menu.
Staff is really nice, spoke enough English to tell me where’s the toilette and took my order.
If you’re someone looking to throw back a few before jumping on the train, The Hideout is right up your (our) alley.

C’est formidable qu’il y ait un Hideout à cet emplacement. Cela permet de né pas aller dans celui qui se trouve à Châtelet, qui n’est certes pas très loin, mais qui est toujours rempli, et donc dans lequel il est difficile de trouver place assise.
Il n’en est rien dans celui-​ci ! Toutes les fois où j’ai pu le fréquenter, nous étions soit seuls, ou il n’y avait jamais grand monde ! C’est assez surprenant, car le bar est immense, et il y’a une salle au sous sol ! Même en fin de semaine il n’y a pas grand monde, le quartier de Chatelet à quelques pas raflant sans doute tous les clients.
Ici le mode happy hour permet d’avoir un mojito pour 4 euros, à ce prix là, on en prend 2 !
Je n’ai pas eu l’opportunité de tester leurs autres cocktails, mais je pense que l’endroit mérite d’être légèrement plus connu.
Petit plus: il dispose d’une terrasse, parfaite en été.

This was one of a few ‘Irish Pubs’ we found in Paris. Being from Ireland, we had to give them all a go. For some reason, most do not even open until after 6 PM, but we found the Hideout was open early so we called in. It had the feel of a good pub. There were no Irish working there, but the staff were very friendly and the service was great. They had a good selection of beers from around the world and a few on tap. If you are in Paris and don’t want to drink in the standard café style setting, this is the place for you sure.
