Stayed here for 4 nights this past April, checked in without any problems and the check in staff was helpful and friendly. Room was spacious and clean, our room had an awesome view of the canal. The maids did a great job everyday. Thanks to the concierge Phillip for helping us with tour set up, he went above and beyond when we needed to change the tour dates. Really easy to get to the metro from the Hotel, 2 stations within walking distance. The Hotel is right in front of the canal which is a pleasure to walk along of. There is parking under the hotel for really cheap(for Paris prices), so if you bring a car, this is a big plus. The Hotel staff made my family and I feel welcomed and it was a big highlight of our Paris trip.

I prepaid a 10-day stay, in full, at this hotel from Christmas through New Year’s and 1) they tried to charge me 189 Euros up and over what my Internet reservation stated, 2) the concierge kept asking me for my credit card number to reserve a taxi to pick us up from the train station and then he told me that I needed to pay him 10% of our fare in cash to him. He quoted my cab fare as being 60 – 70 euros, when in actuality, I paid 35 euros(how many other patrons has this hotel made money off of by charging others 10% of their taxi fares???), 3) when I got to the hotel, 4 women at the reception desk attacked us like an angry pack of wolves demanding to know why we did not wait for our taxi! I had a feeling that the concierge never made arrangements for us so I woke up and called at about 2am or so, and the night shift girl told me that no taxi was set up to pick up my wheelchair bound traveler and I. Really guys? So when we actually got to the hotel and Satan’s hounds descended on my party, it was just awful. What was worse was that a supervisor was present and she didn’t bother to call her pack of wolves off and speak to us, she just let these 4 women squawk and squawk, 4) they never gave us extra towels and toilet paper that my disabled traveler and I asked for — we had to buy our own toilet paper, 5) they denied us housekeeping services when we asked for them at about 7:30am one morning and the modesty and integrity of my disabled traveler was compromised when not once, but twice, did housekeeping services let themselves in to our room. It was a miserable 10 day stay but we made the most of it by avoiding the staff all together. They are young, ill-trained, very unprofessional, and they treat the needs of their patrons with flippancy and ridicule. Our room was a little dirty with scratches on the walls, and the bathroom floor needed mopping, but the accessibility was good. They do, however, have these horrible clear plastic boxes — one near the ceiling in the main room and one in the bathroom that glow orange 24⁄7. There is also a circular speaker in the room(like the ones you had in elementary school when the principal spoke or made an announcement), and it seemed that every now and then, I could hear the staff speaking. Also, the hotel touts being a «green» hotel so when you get out of the elevator on your floor, the hallways are almost completely dark if no one as walked through them within a few minutes. This was really scary because you can’t see down the hallway and it feels really unsafe. The view of the canal is nice but beware that a two-level tour boat passes by your rooms daily, and regularly. Also, the breakfast is free, they track each room who eats breakfast, but in actuality, they let anyone in. Lots of sausage and eggs, the milk for cereal was warm because they didn’t keep it cold, and staff seemed irritated any time you asked them for anything extra. Considering the issues we had with the staff at this hotel, their lack of professionalism, their flippancy with respect to patron needs/concerns, I definitely would not stay here again. Add the dirty walls, the dirty bathroom floors and the dark hallways, no, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all. Next time I’ll stay at The Marriott, or if you want to stay in the 19th Arrondissement(district), stay at the Campanile La Villette. And wi-fi should be free.

So-so hotel. Terrible employees. I stayed two nights at this Holiday Inn Express. According to TripAdvisor, this is one of the best Holiday Inns in all of Paris, so I trusted them and booked a room here. Upon arrival, we were«greeted» by a lady at the front desk who just didn’t seem too happy to see us. It’s not like she was mad, she just had no emotion on her face. Whatever, that’s fine, I thought. The rooms are very basic, which is expected from an Express. The hotel is brand new, so everything was quite modern, including motion sensor lights and touch-card entrance. The bathroom and toilet are separate, but are closed by one door. Interesting concept, if only the door had a lock on it –__-. The breakfast is not bad, but heavily catered towards Americans. This means your typical bacon, eggs and sausages. They did have cheeses, meats, and yogurts in addition to a variety of breads. Crepes were also great, but when they ran out and we asked for more, we got a very grumpy assurance that more will come. The hot water dispenser was cold by my standards and their tea selection is mediocre. What really set them apart is the check-out service. Upon checking out, we asked for them to call a taxi. We were told one would be there in no more than 5 min, then 10 min, then 20 min, then 30 min. Eventually, we were told all taxis were busy and we had to go fetch one ourselves. What kind of shitty customer service is that? While my dad went to go fetch one, I went back to the receptionist and made her call again, much to her dislike. I have a feeling she just hung up once she was on hold for too long the previous time. Throughout the whole process, her and her colleague were very grumpy, unprofessional, and just inconsiderate. Finally we fetched a taxi, with no thanks to this piece of shit hotel. Oh and also no free wi-fi…at a brand new hotel. Really guys?
