Hôtel Astoria Opéra

Lovely hotel. Well situated (close to subway Rome) in a calm neighbourhood. Friendly staff. Nice and well-​equipped room. All-​day long fruit, drinks and cookies available for free which is a nice touch. Also important: faultless wifi without hiccups. Very recommended for a short stay.

Really loved my stay. Rooms are not big but have all the amenities including cable TV, free WiFi and continental breakfast. The hotel is close to the subway 2 Rome, and close to the parc Monceau (great for runners!). The staff is great and was really helpful when I thought I lost my passport (I did not in the end but they really showed concern and tried to help). Anyway, highly recommended for business travelers or tourists.

We really enjoyed staying at the Astoria Opera. The location is great, the hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the rooms are adorable and very clean. We will definitely be back to Paris, as it was our favorite stop on our multi city tour of Europe, and we will stay here again. Now… off to Italy and Greece!

Charmant petit hôtel dans le 8ème !
Pour un séjour ultra court sur Paris j’ai opté pour ce petit hôtel de quartier ma foi très agréable. Un trois étoiles qui propose des chambres calmes et décorée de manière moderne.
Le lobby est magnifique, la salle de déjeuner très colorée, cela change ! J’avais une chambre double, vue sur cour.
* Les points ultra positifs: la literie est excellente et les rideaux occultants sont bienvenus pour ceux qui n’aiment pas avoir un peu de jour la nuit comme moi :)
La petite bouteille d’eau offerte est une délicate attention
* Les points a améliorer: la douche trop petite, même pour une personne… le mini bar qui était vide et enfin, la moquette au sol.
J’ai aimé la décoration et la proximité du métro. Le petit déjeuner était tout a fait correct, servi jusqu’a 10h30 ! Hôtel parfait pour un court séjour sur Paris.

This was a hotel I found using trip advisor. This hotel was great! It has 4 floors and the the décor is very modern! Bright and inviting, I was excited for our first trip in Paris!
The rooms were a decent size and we had a good size shower. The staff was very nice and accommodating. We were also located near by 3 metros so it was so easy to get around! There were a few employees in the front desk who were so nice to us. They gave us recommendations on restaurants and provided us with directions off the train.
The only thing was they were a couple of people one day who were not so gracious but almost short with us. We also were late for our shuttle on our last day. However, they couldn’t even wait 5 minutes! 5 minutes! The front desk guy told us there’s nothing he could do and only refunded 80% back saying there was a fee. If he could have just looked out for us and asked the driver on our behalf to wait, it would have saved us a $ 60 cab ride. Due to the end result of our experience, the rating dropped from a 4 to the 3.
Nonetheless, I would return since most if the staff was kind and welcoming and it’s location was awesome!
