(2014 Review) Found this hotel while scanning some travel sites and decided to give it a go, especially since it was in a good location and was much cheaper than other hotels I was viewing. It is very close to the Eiffel tower and Napoleon’s tomb and museum, probably about a 10 minute walk, which is great for first time visitors to Paris. The front desk was very welcoming and spoke excellent English! I was checked in very quickly and was on my way, only to find the world’s smallest elevator(1 person and a bag). After waiting several minutes for our party to make it up to the room we were greeted with a standard 2 to 3 star room. It was very clean, had all the amenities one would expect for a cheaper hotel(TV, small bathroom, decent beds, etc). I’m not picky at all when it comes to hotels while I’m on vacation since I rarely spend much time in them besides the 4 – 6 hours of sleeping. They server breakfast below the lobby in a small dimly lit room. It is your standard slim picking breakfast, but it will definitely fill you up for the activities you have planned for the day. Breakfast is served early, which is always a plus since I like to get in and out as fast as possible in the morning. It did look like the later you waited the more jam packed the breakfast hall got, so I’d suggest getting there early to avoid the large amount of traffic. To conclude, I would happily book at this hotel again in the future since it was in close proximity to major attractions as well as major transit.
