The hotel is impeccably located near Place Saint-Michele; the RER to the airport is a mere two blocks away. In spite of being immersed in the action you are able to sleep soundly as the hotel is adequately sound proofed. The hotel room was very cute: old building but in good condition. We received excellent service from the hotel staff — we were even given a complimentary upgrade. Merci.

This boutique hotel, right off Blvd. St. Michele, is easy to get to and in the great Latin Quarter. Notre Dame is just across the Seine, and a Metro/RER station is on the corner. The hotel itself has a great multi-lingual staff. There are rooms with little balconies(with table &2 chairs as well) on the 2nd and 5th floors. Well worth it! A little word of caution: our room had a separate toilet room, which was awkward since it was far from the main bathroom entrance(eg. room 215). Make sure your room layout makes more sense. Higher floor rooms are quieter, although the hotel is just past the last couple of restaurants on Rue St. Severin. We got a room with balcony on the 5th floor which was perfect! Excellent location and price!

If you want to stay in a warm and nicely decorated place right in the touristy action by ethnic food places, then stay here. It’s located by the St. Michel Metro/RER stations within walking steps. If you’re using the RER station make sure you have Euro coins(does not accept Euro bills), since the RER will not recognize American credit cards. However, the Metro is convenient to use. We stayed in a suite which was on the highest level, so that road noise was quieter than expected considering it’s next to an Italian restaurant. Stayed here for 4 nights, and front desk was always helpful in answering our questions and offering assistance.

Two-star hotel smack dab in the middle of the very touristy Latin Quarter. Its selling point is its proximity to major sights including Notre Dame and Saint Chapelle as well as easy access to the Metro and RERs B and C. We stayed in 2 different rooms, one a double deluxe and the other a standard double with balcony, and found both perfectly suited to our needs. European hotel rooms typically have a dearth of outlets but I managed to find one on either side of the bed and along another wall! Rooms on lower floors have to deal with street noise — bring along some earplugs and have a half-bottle of wine before hitting the hay and you should sleep through just fine ;)
