Hôtel du Lys

Recently stayed 2 nights in December in a single room, ensuite, so I had a toilet and shower in my room. Bed was ok, and it was very quiet. It’s a 1.5 or 2 star hotel. No fridge or tea service in room. But they do offer a lite breakfast of coffee, tea or hot chocolate, a croissant, butter and jam. Very very nice staff. Building is old, and there is no lift, staircase is circular and VERY narrow so beware if you have heavy or large luggage. Fantastic location in the Latin quarter that’s really what you are paying for at this place. Saint Michele metro is across the street and Notre dame cathedral is about 2 blocks away. The RER B to and from CDG airport is at the same metro stop. Wifi is free with a code. I couldn’t get it to work in my room, but worked great in lobby.

very favorable location, cool historical building. clean and very very nice staff with excellent customer service. I will go back there for sure. recommended.
