We stayed at the Hotel Eiffel Kennedy for 6 nights over Christmas while visiting my brother. My brother, his wife and two of my nieces live in the 16th district so I wanted a hotel close by. Using the reviews on Unilocal and TripAdvisor and also my niece’s inspection, we chose the Hotel Eiffel Kennedy. This hotel is in a excellent location of Paris in this reviewers opinion. The Siene river is two blocks away and he Eiffel tower a 25 minute walk at most. There are Metro stops very, very close also. Although the 16th is a residential district there are still many nice cafes, restaurants and stores very close to the hotel. There is a very good and affordable restaurant next door the hotel. The staff at the hotel was great. They all tolerated my butchering of the French language and they all spoke English also. Bernard is very knowledgeable and helpful. The hotel is smaller, with only 4 floors and probably less then 30 rooms. There is a tight, 2 person elevator or lift. The hotel has a nice little lobby with seats and a computer for guests. The rooms are not large by American standards but they are not that bad if you have ever been to Paris or Europe before. The big rooms we see in movies like Midnight in Paris would run more then $ 800.00 per night, so unless that is in your budget get used to smaller rooms. The room was laid out nicely and was recently updated and very clean. There was a small wardrobe and also a small desk and chair and a flat screen TV attached to the wall. The bathroom was pretty big though and modern. The basic toiletries were supplied. The bed and the pillows were comfortable and the heat worked great, we were never cold. The rooms have A/C too. Our room faced the street and when we opened the window and looked out to the left we could see the Eiffel tower. The room was surprisingly quiet, but if you want a more quiet room request a room that does not face the street. Also I requested a nonsmoking room and there was zero smoke smell. We paid 140 Euro per night which is also pretty decent for a major city. The hotel serves a nice breakfast in their basement for 10 Euros. There were a lot of choices and the food was quite good. They have a quaint little café set up and it is a pretty good deal by Paris standards for breakfast. Paris is not cheap for food also, like any major city. On a side note, the Hotel Eiffel Kennedy was one of few hotels that allowed us to sleep 3 adults in our room. It was my wife, our daughter and myself. They added a comfortable cot to the room which made our room very tight but sure beat paying for an extra room! I highly recommend Hotel Eiffel Kennedy as a fantastic 3 star, charming, clean French style hotel when in Paris. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Magnifiques! My mother and I stayed here a week ago(Dec. 2011). I had never been to Paris before and my mother hadn’t in forty years. We did a ton of research on hotels before we booked Hotel Eiffel Kennedy. We picked it because the reviewers really gave it great ratings and I liked the vibe people were referring to. So glad we picked this hotel. What I love about Hotel Eiffel Kennedy: 1) It’s in between two RER stations and a few blocks from the metro ligne. We mostly went with Kennedy RER on the way out cause its downhill and Boulainvilliers returning cause downhill. These stations are super close by. 2) it’s located in a really classy and quiet neighborhood. The hotel does have Eiffel Tower view rooms, but it’s not much to see. If you’re looking to have a full view of it stay elsewhere. We didn’t have a view of it and at first was disappointed. Then I realized it was quieter on the other side of the hotel with no view. Don’t let it be a deal breaker. 3) There is a bakery with $ 1 loaves of amazing bread across the street and a cute and wonderful café next door. 4) the staff is amazing! They speak English and are very helpful at the front desk. I wish I could export the cleaning staff back here to my house 5) free wifi!!! Strong wifi! 6) the room is small, but you won’t get a room like you see in the movies in Europe unless you are a rock star. Small as it was– it was beautiful, had everything we needed(don’t forget your adapter plugs) and the bathroom was really cool. Bed comfortable. Feather comforter. I highly highly recommend Hotel Eiffel Kennedy and going to Paris. I know I’ll stay there next time I go.
