One star is generous. This hotel is falling a part. The room was dirty, dusty and damaged. We checked out and found another hotel. No way we would stay in that place. The pics of the rooms are lies. Don’t stay here.

The location for this hotel is stellar. It might not have the most romantic view, but it’s DIRECTLY next to the St. Paul metro station, right in the heart of the Marais, where Paris really couldn’t get any cooler. And it’s definitely a good and competitive price for this area. You can book online through their website or . The rooms are small, and a little… worn.(at many price points, hotels in europe are just different than what we expect in America/Canada.) But the pillows are actually really comfortable, and the mattress not bad. The wifi is free. The staff was really friendly and helpful(and spoke English, if that’s important to you). But the stairs are steep! If I had one recommendation it would be to pay the extra to have a room no higher than the third floor. That being said, it was probably much quieter up high. If you stay here, be sure to get some falafel on Rue de Rosiers(just a couple of blocks away), and there is a really nice boulangerie/patisserie just a few blocks away that opens early so you can stock up on snacks for your flight home! I would definitely stay here again. (don’t confuse this with Hotel Rivoli Paris, and feel stupid and have to lug your suitcase all the way back down the street to the hotel you actually had a reservation for).
