Hôtel Madeleine Plaza

It was our first time in Paris and we had been warned by friends that the hotel rooms can be pretty small. That said, the room was small but comfortable. The bathroom was very nice had a good amount of counter space. The was a large window/​door from the bathroom out to a small terrace. It would be pretty cramped for two people to go out there but the view with the door open was great.
The location of the hotel is perfect. Walking distance from many tourist hot spots but more importantly close to the subway stop.
We never got to enjoy the breakfast as we planned early excursions most days but the food we grabbed when we’d run out the door was always tasty.
The staff was very nice. The only hiccup is that we requested a cab be called for 5am to catch our flight to Italy and we requested a cab that could take credit card. The front desk attendant put in that request. The cab never showed up so at 4am they had to call another cab and we had to stop at an ATM to get cash. Not the fault of the hotel but still a rough way to end our stay in Paris.

Pour l’emplacement
Très bien placé dans l’un des quartiers les plus vivants de Paris à deux pas des hauts lieux de Paris. On n’est pas géné par le trafic intense grâce à une bonne insonorisation. Par contre les chambres sont petites et un peu désuettes. L’éclairage est faible quand les ampoules sont remplacées, et je regrette que la douche légèrement cassée le soit restée pendant mon séjour. Mais c’est compensé par un bon lit ferme. Le service est de bonne facture et souriant. Sans être exceptionnel l’hôtel mérite un Assez-​bien voire Bien en notation.
