Hôtel Résidence Alhambra

Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits dans cette hôtel. Je donne une note de 3 étoiles car les prix sont corrects et la chambre petite, mais vraiment jolie. Les chambres sont propres, rien à redire de ce côté. Points négatifs, j’aime dormir le matin, et lorsque que la plupart des portes des chambres grincent, avec la faible isolation des chambres, j’ai été réveillée tous les matins. Nous avons mentionné ce problème au responsable, qui a fait mine de né pas le savoir. Le personnel est vraiment le point négatif de cet hôtel, désagréable et pas du tout professionnel avec des remarque désobligeante. Dommage pour un hôtel qui a tout pour plaire vu son prix et son emplacement à côté de l’arrêt du metro Oberkampf.

Ein sehr hübsches und stylisches kleines Hotel im Arrondissement Oberkampf. Perfekt an der Metro (Linie 6 oder 9) gelegen gibt’s nette und leckere Lokale im Umkreis und auch im Marais ist man in ca. 10min bei flottem Gang.
Die Zimmer sind sauber, ebenso der Rest des Hotels. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend wenngleich nicht alle Rezeptionisten sonderlich gutes Englisch sprachen.
Kostenloses WLAN wird angeboten ist aber unglaublich langsam. Hier sollten die Besitzer ein bisschen verbessern.
Die Betten waren bequem, die Bettwäsche ebenfalls, die Handtücher wurden verlässlich getauscht — also alles bestens.
Der Preis war leider dennoch für die gebotene Leistung eine Spur zu hoch. Im Hotel angekommen wurden wir darüber informiert, dass die Buchung direkt beim Hotel günstiger gewesen wäre, anstatt über
zu buchen — ebenfalls ein willkommener Tip. Auch bekamen wir sofort Infomaterial und Karten angeboten, weiterer Pluspunkt.
In Summe ist das einzig Negative das sehr langsame WLAN sowie der etwas zu hohe Preis — ansonsten perfekt.

Limited security, annoying having to drop off card each day, but fits the price for Paris.
Staying for just two days in Paris to kick off our trip, we found Alhambra as it was in the right neighborhood, near a metro, and not too expensive.
Positives — not too pricey, staff speaks English, comfy bed, TV has a good set of channels, good bathroom size. A half block from the Oberkampf station
Negatives. .. a bunch.
Every time you leave the hotel, you have to leave your card at the front desk. And the front door is locked at midnight, so if you come back after you need to buzz in. The negative here is that when we came back once and asked for the card, we just said the room number and got the card. So.. . anyone could walk in, say a number, and get a card. Not good, there’s no deadbolt in the room either.
The rooms are tiny, but hey it’s Paris. The pillows are okay, nothing special. The TV in the room is too small for the room, but it works. It’s a euro shower with the half door, so water sprays everywhere. And there is nowhere to hang clothing. Nowhere of any sort. And that’s for the larger than the lowest room.
All told, it’s the definition of okay. Paris is pricey and Alhambra isn’t too bad. Just don’t expect much.

When a hotel is just okay but then compounds it with a staff that is abusive, particularly to younger customers, I think it is time to speak up. I have brought two groups of students, choosing Alhambra for its convenient location and good prices. Neither of those two factors can offset a front desk that is intentionally demeaning of young customers. The first time I went there, I assumed it had more to do with the students than the front desk. Two year later, I stood and watched as a particularly rude family member of this family-​managed hotel reduced one of my students to tears with insulting and unrealistic demands regarding something as simple as a request to forward a piece of mail. Later, the group told me this was a pattern, not just a single incident. Goodbye Alhambra.

Bön je donne une bonne note l’emplacement, a cote d’oberkampf. Par contre hotel pas terrible, chambre tres petite, pas de clim, lit rikiki. tout ca pour 135euros!!!
