Absolut kein Hotel in Paris wo man hingehen sollte.

We stayed here for three nights after booking with an outside booking source that gave us a pretty good deal. The location is pretty great — close to a couple Metro stops and the big RER station from the airport. The hotel was ‘just ok’. If you’re looking for budget you probably can’t do much better than this in Paris. There were 3 of us and we booked a room with 3 twin beds(two of which where pressed next to each other due to space). The beds were comfortable. We were on the 5th floor and they did have an elevator, a super teeny, tiny elevator, but it only worked part of the time. Now for not so good… –There were 99 winding steps to get up or down from our room with the elevator wasn’t working –There were two missing light fixture covers –There was a large hole in the bathroom door –There was a large hole with a broken tile leaned up inside it outside of the bathtub –You had to sit sideways on the toilet –The flooring outside of the bathroom was pretty messed up –There was an old, nasty pill, in some sort of dried up fluid on the underside of the bed covering –According to the booking we were supposed to get free internet in our room — not true — EACH of us had to pay 12 Euro to access the internet on our separate devices, it would only allow one person to log in at a time –They locked the door in the evening and don’t give the residents the key(and make you turn in your room key every time you leave the building). One night it took quite some time to get someone out to open the door for us which isn’t the best feeling in the world thinking you might have to spend the night on a park bench in Paris I have photos of all of the above — but I’m too lazy to pull them off of my external hard drive at the moment. I’d be happy to share if anyone really wants to see them.
