This restaurant claims to have won culinary awards in 2007. I don’t know if that’s true or not, but if it is, the place has gone downhill since. In a neighborhood full of terrific spots, Kamala is lacking. Menu is limited, the portions small and the fare below average. Wine list was limited as well but even so, they were still out of the first 2 bottles we tried to order. Atmosphere was nice and India-inspired but clearly needing of refurbishing. The sole waiter in the restaurant tried but by himself, just couldn’t make up for the restaurant’s shortcomings.
