Decent Korean food in a hip location, with a reasonable lunch set menu — 12 or 14 euros depending on which options you choose. Lunch set menu includes: appetizer(pan-fried dumplings /salad /tofu) and a main course(bibimbap, bulgogi, spicy hangover soup, etc.) — I love the pan-fried dumplings, probably because they’re cooked in butter and so crispy on the outside. — As with most Korean food, the main course comes with a handful of side-dishes. I had the bulgogi, which was too salty this time, and my sister had the bibimbap, which didn’t really have much depth of flavor. Great for satisfying a Korean food craving if you’re in the area, but not worth an extra trip.

I ordered the #40, which was a beef bibimbap. It did not impress me, but wasn’t completely terrible. The beef was not thoroughly marinated so it was a bit tasteless, however the veggies and rice were fine. The main redeeming factor of this place was that the service was better than most French restaurants. Perhaps it is because it is located in a touristy area(right near the Louvre and Opera), but I felt like the servers were warmer than most. It was the only time I have ever been asked by a server(in Paris) whether the food was ok, and if I needed anything. I wish I could give this place a better review, but the food was just very mediocre. I will definitely be returning for the service however and try a few different dishes than I did this time.

Overall, my experience at this restaurant was great. The food was definitely on point. They had authentic Korean bbq, and the banchan(especially the kimchi and potatoes) tasted amazing. With every bite you get the warm and homey feeling that only good Korean food can bring. The restaurant was clean. The staff was very welcoming, and they spoke French Korean, and English. I’d say the food was reasonably priced because you can taste the quality in the food. I’ll definitely be coming back here!

First of all, they are actually Korean here, so that’s an immediate vote in their favor. The food is nice, not amazing but good and generous servings. The ambience is equally nice and service is great. A very solid place for some Korean in Paris, definitely a better option that the places in nearby St Anne that are less clean, more crowded, and the same price. It’s so much more pleasant to be in the lovely marche st honore in a nicer neighborhood and cleaner restaurant with pleasant table service.

Une des références de coréens à Paris. On y mange bien.

So, Jason and I were exploring the streets of Paris right around our first hotel, Le Meurice, during our first full day in Paris, and we were completely hungover from our first night’s dinner and partying at L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon with our new friends from Connecticut. We stumbled upon this Korean restaurant(this Korean girl was super psyched!) and stuffed our faces with mul nyeng myun and kalbi… needless to say, it totally hit the spot in our wine-filled bellies. I can’t say this is the most accurate review since eating during a hangover haze is not the ideal situation to review a joint, especially for me since I grew up eating delicious Korean food and a lot of Korean restaurants are just ok and not the best. I was just so happy to have randomly walked by a Korean restaurant in Paris! The owner was a Korean woman who lives in France, and I was able to speak to her in Korean and French, which was amazeballs! We then ate a slice of thin crust pizza from another joint nearby, and then stumbled upon another joint and ate a dozen oysters(see the review for L’Écume St-Honoré)…

Pretty authentic Korean BBQ. We got the pork that they bbq for you in front of you. The pork is not marinated and you wrap it in rice and lettuce with sauce. I didn’t actually enjoy the sauce very much. As an appetizer, we got the onion pancakes. The dish was very good, but a little too much green onions for me and I just couldn’t take the harshness. Got some soju too. Expensive. About 70 euros for two people. First floor is quite tiny and we never got to see the second floor. Service is fantastically friendly(they are Korean afterall!)

One of the best if not the best korean in Paris. Has 30 seats on the first floor but there’s a second so I dunno. The menu is awesome! It took us 10 minutes at least to choose: beef, beef ribs, chicken BBQs, one bimbimbap(for me(^-^)/). Everything for 80 euros. No rush since we stayed talking for a couple of hours(long time no see hehe). Staff is kind and very helping but i’m not sure they speak english though.
