NEVEREVERGOHERE! My husband and I attempted to eat here on our last night in Paris prior to seeing the Moulin Rouge. We did not roll in off the street, we were dressed nicely for the evening. Although we are not fluently French, my husband ordered in French. There were no tables outside so we were seated in the sweltering restaurant to await a table outside. Instead, they seated 2 other parties that arrived as walk-ins outside. We ordered wine but were basically ignored after that. Their orders were also taken before ours. Finally, when we did order, those same two tables FINISHED their meals before we were brought our appetizer! After about an hour, we mentioned we had a show to get to and asked if our meal could be expedited.(That, and we were absolutely famished!). Other tables continued to receive their meals and STILLNOTHING was brought to us! As Canadians and professionals, we were never impolite and could not understand this complete and utter lack of service. While we contemplated simply walking out, an hour and a half after arriving at the restaurant and receiving no food, we paid for our wine and left. The waiter offered no explanation. We had to grab a crêpe at a street vendor and run to the show. I’m still completely astonished — do NOT under any circumstances go here!!! If I could rank this a zero I would.
