1st off — the staff here is wonderful … could not have been better, so I am sorry to give this place only 3 stars. The ambiance is nice enough and clean but has no real character … sort of a modernist cafeteria look. Not bad, just not at all special. If a self serve nature or lots of white walls/tables/chairs bothers you, do not eat here. For us, we like being able to design our own plates and had some fun doing it. The biggest problem(and a huge one, for a restaurant) was the food. Nothing was inedible but it certainly isn’t «cuisine» which is what one wants when dining out … especially in Paris where traditional and nouveau French cooking methods are not at all limited by vegetarian ingredients. There is entirely too much reliance on salads and vinaigrette … the 2(and only 2 are offered) warm dishes were much too bland and too simple to provide any balance or make one say«yummm». The only quiche was just not well flavored and the desserts were just ok(again, all edible). The saving grace was one of the two soups served with non-french-traditional(in a good way) breads … it was a blend of squashes and celery root that was well spiced. Sadly that was the only dish that the 4 of us sampled which any of us thought worth coming back for. Not enough. I live nearby so I hope this place can improve by being more adventurous, adding more warm /satisfying dishes and by creating more variety in the flavor palette. BUT if you are looking for a simple, quick, vege meal in the Ecole Militaire /Tour Eiffel area, then this place will fill you up with healthy things. If you want vege cuisine, a trip farther afield is currently required.

This nice clean little piece of sanity is fabulous. While in Paris all three times I always wanted to make it there several times and did. The buffet is very inexpensive. At the time 14 e for all you can eat. There are tables of food not included in the buffet price. There is more than one can pick from that is included. The staff is exceptionally friendly and always will happily review the buffet table with you so the customer knows what they are buying. No question is to small. The Chef has come out several times to explain gluten free and is happy to see me again. The best part is while the main menu is similar, Many of the full course, or main course changes daily. ANDITISALLVEGETARIAN!!! With many many gluten free options. It is close to the Bonaparte tomb and between that and the tower on a main route to the tower. Easy, quick, in and out, never a line. Scrumptiously delicious food. So if you are looking for reliable great food where the staff knows what is gluten free, quick in and out, easy options and are gluten free/vegetarian like I am. This place came from where ever all good things do. Please stop by and check them out.(I am back in Seattle now.)

The place is close to the Eiffel Tower, but not to close to be crowded with tourist. People there were really gentle, and were very thorough when explaining the menu. Speaking English and Italian :) The lentils with curry, and the home made bread were simple delicious. They told us the veggies are picked from small gardens. My husband and I enjoyed being there.

Someone suggested this place to me after I asked for something nearby that was quick, light(not-too-heavy) and affordable. This place is all of the above and I imagine a good restaurant for vegans and vegetarians(I’m not vegetarian myself). Reviewing the food alone, I would give it 3 stars. The options are limited and you have to serve yourself. I got a plate of food for 8 euros, filling half with the warm entrees and the other half with cold sides. I saw some folks buying food from the fridge and was told that they can heat it up in a microwave. The food itself was good but you have to serve yourself. The reason why I give it 4 stars is because I appreciated the atmosphere. It’s bright, sunny, and has a cozy-type feel.(When I went, there was only one other person there.) All in all, good place for young travelers with a small budget.
