Le Baromètre

Je commencerai par dire que je reviendrai. Vraiment.
Emplacement parfait. Ambiance détendu et cool.
Prix pas excessif. Pas mal de choix.
J’ai envie de dire combo parfait. Bön on a pas tester encore pour manger, mais comme bar pour se détendre autour d’un verre entre potes ou en couple c’est vraiment cool.
Peut être le nouveau QG du quartier …

Je voulais d’abord aller à Ober Mama mais trop de monde du coup je suis allée à coté au baromètre.
Une carte simple et assez varié ambiance brasserie.
Un lieu avec une terrasse sympa surtout qu’il né faisait pas trop froid.
la serveuse était nouvelle donc moyenne mais très sympa !
la salade césar pas mal en revanche le saumon était très bon !
C’est une brasserie donc rien de folichon mais c’est une bonne brasserie avec des prix corrects.
Les prix sont corrects; 12 euros la salade, 14 euros le saumon et 15 euros la viande.

We arrived in Paris in the afternoon, and by the time we checked in, we were hungry, at around 3.30pm.
Little did we know that most of the restaurants in our area closed after lunch and before dinner, so after trying a few places, we came into Le Barometre and hurrah, they were serving food!
I had a lovely bruschetta with tomato, mozzarella and parma ham. The bread was the star, a great chewy, crunchy, yet soft sourdough.
The service was good, the prices okay (a bit on the high side), and there was actually a wall between the smoking area and the restaurant, so we could eat without being smoked out.
A good start to our Parisian adventure!

We had been searching high and low for somewhere to eat, but fell short as most restaurants in Paris stick to strict lunchtime/​dinner. So we were pleased to find somewhere whose kitchen was still open.
Even better that the staff were super friendly, and a real credit to the restaurant. Their English skills were good, and the menu was just what we wanted. I had the bacon cheese burger, which while a staple of such restaurants was particularly good. The bun was obviously a French bread but the solidity of it helped the burger as it was quite juicy.
Rather than just being a bit of a slap dash burger that I was suspecting I was going to get, it came with great care and frankly the bacon was simply amazing on it. It was somewhat similar to Canadian bacon, but cooked absolutely right for a burger. The meat quality itself was excellent, and the serving style was cool too with the fries coming in a little fryer basket. It was a very nice touch.

Alors happy hour de 17h30 à 19h30, donc retrictif !! Serveur sympa !!! Plateau de fromage, deux choix de fromages 7 euros ! Pinte 5 euros ! Mojito, capi 5 euros ! Je parle seulement de l’happy hour. Sinon bar sympa, prix corrects, bar sans plus ni moins, à la sortie du métro Oberkampf, grosso modo si vous avez la flemme de parcourir le quartier à la recherché d’un coin sympa.

Decent food. The Marius burger is a pretty good take on an American staple. Too expensive, but nice service.

Voici une brasserie refait à neuf depuis peu qui vous sert une cuisine très très ordinaire pour des prix bien parisien. Service même pas sympa en prime. Nous n’y retournerons pas. !
