The staff here are so nice and friendly. We had a reservation for 11 but only two of us showed up and they were still so extremely nice about the situation. The food was so, so good. Gratin Ravioli will change your life. Very reasonably priced for the type of food and service you get compared to other nearby places. Very best I had in Paris.

What a wonderful surprise. We were attempting to go to another restaurant on New Year’s Day but they were closed so we found this restaurant using Unilocal.Ordered Château Breand and it was amazing. If you love pepper sauce you are gonna love the sauce. Our children had escargot and loved it. We brought a large group and were surprised at how friendly and accommodating the service was especially since we cannot speak French very well. You can tell staff work hard to please their customers. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Had great bottles of wine and deserts ! Made our family and friends feel very much at home in the beautiful City of Paris

We ordered the ribeye and the confit de canard. Both excellent. Juicy and tender. Well seasoned. Waiter was very attentive and nice. They took our coats upon entering and seated us. Great prices. Excellent dessert too. Highly recommended.

This was a mixed bag. My duck confit was amazing — perhaps the best I’ve ever had — but the other food was mediocre and we had a terrible waitress. I had the pre fixe for dinner and chose the vegetable soup, duck and pistachio pudding. The soup came out so lukewarm it was basically cold, so I had to send it back. It was good once hot, but still, I shouldn’t have to do that! The duck was perfect. My mom had the chicken with fries, but sadly the chicken was super dry and bland tasting. The fries were okay. Finally, the pudding had good flavor but was so gelatinous that it resembled opaque jello — I wasn’t a fan of the texture. Our waitress was flippant and uncaring. Probably won’t be back.

This was our favorite gathering place for lunch and drinks, and dinner and drinks for the ten days we were in Paris. The 6 of us stayed in a fabulous apartment just around the corner from Le Bosquet. We fell in love with all of the waiters — laughing and telling stories. The food was always good, large portions with excellent wine selection. The ravioli dish was one of our favorites — tres riche! Some of the best pommes frites in Paris. Just a stones throw to Rue Cler markets and the Ecole Militaire. Can’t wait to go back. Merci beaucoup for fantastic service and incredible food.

Good food, great service. Duck confit and potatoes were excellent, pasta less so. The crème brûlée was rich and delicious, and the ice cream was good as well. Service was very good, though maybe we got a little more attention by having a baby with us. Don’t forget, tap water is always available and free.

This is where I had my birthday dinner and it was remarkably Parisian beautiful. From the ambiance to the waiter everything was superb. My meal started with escargots and glass of rose wine and salmon pasta and tiramisu, wanted crème brûlée but it was out. I’m definitely eating here again before I leave… That pasta was on point!!! Ooh and so were the snails!

Very disappointing after reading all the great reviews. The escargot were ok. But the steak Tartare was inedible which is a real shame for Paris(tasted like very vinagry ketchup). Served with fries that could have been made from frozen. My boyfriend had the filet de boeuf, which was ok but quite small and nothing special, which you would hope for at 29 € a piece. Served with a good gratin dauphinois but boiled tasteless vegetables. Service was ok but the manager lied and said service was not included. We later checked and by law a 15% tip is included.

Amazing. My son and I both had the duck confit and it was excellent. Wait staff was pleasant and patient with us. We enjoyed the entire meal. The three course deal is the way to go.

My sister and I were looking for a place near the Eiffel Tower for our last dinner in Paris and found this place. Nice restaurant with great atmosphere full of lively chatter, that in spite of being almost full and is not having reservation, the host immediately got us a table. And our server Adriano was awesome! Very attentive and polite, brought our meal very fast and checked on us every so often without interrupting. Everything in fluent French, perfect English and Portuguese! My sister and I both had the ribeye with fries and it was cooked to perfection, and although we were not planning on desert, we had the profiteroles — yummy! Highly recommend this place! If we’re ever in Paris again, we will definitely come back!

Le Bosquet exceeded my expectations their duck confit was purely enjoyable, the duck had a nice balance of flavor and spices and my roasted potatoes were tender and amazing, our waiter was friendly and courteous. The restaurant had plenty of space indoors and nice outdoor seating.

Subpar! The food was average at best. Service was poor: no water refill, waiter was inattentive, even indifferent. Quite disappointed, especially after reading the other reviews and deciding to come here.

I give them 5 stars primarily for their service, which was the best I’ve ever had in several trips to France. Very accommodating, friendly, and happy service. The duck confit was as good as everyone says it is, and we really appreciated the number of vegetarian possibilities. We weren’t really expecting Italian dishes here, and the penne was rather disappointing… but, I still can’t bring myself to take my rating down a star.

Nice restaurant, good food quality/price ratio. Portions are also fine in comparison with most french restaurants. After visiting the eiffel tower this is a good choice to have dinner afterwards!

Good food, good prices. Slightly abrupt server didn’t seem excited about his job that night. We had delicious gazpacho and duck confit. Fixed 3 course menu 24 euro. Plenty of other options for kids or meals for reasonable price. Saw some amazing desserts, but were only given a bowl of strawberries for ours(tasty, though, with a sprig of mint).

Our first meal in Paris was here and we enjoyed it enough to come back a second time later that week. I thought the service was warm and tourist-friendly. Both times we were helped by this nice bald gentleman who wore reading glasses around his neck and really liked him. The atmosphere is light and contemporary but a little worn on the furnishings(mostly the booth seats). On our visits we ordered: rib eye, chateubriand, whole roasted seabass, and duck confit – I think the latter two are worth trying. Not that the beef dishes were bad but my suggestion is to order it cooked just like you would in the States. Prior to coming to Paris, I was advised to order meat as well-done if I wanted it to come out what we would consider medium, but that was not the case. Whatever variation of potato they serve you on the side(herb roasted, fries, or gratin) will be delicious. The house wine is very good and not expensive(4 – 5 euros). Never had room for dessert but they always looked tempting. I like that the menu had a mix of simple French classics(onion soup, duck) but also some familiar American favorites(roast chicken, cheeseburgers, etc). so I think this would be an ideal place if traveling with family or children. Overall this place is reliable for a pleasant, affordable meal. Open late some nights until 11:30, which is great if you are coming back from an exhausting all day tour and just want a good dinner in your belly before walking back to your hotel.

Hands down, THE best meal we had in Paris. The restaurant is very easy to find between the Eiffel Tower and Invalides, and inside is very classy, quiet, and modern. Duck confit– Hubby has dreams about this dish. The duck was cooked perfectly, with a crispy skin on the outside and the meat juicy inside. I don’t eat duck, but I did try the potatoes and those were seasoned to perfection. Salmon pasta– SO delicious. Simple pasta but the salmon was cooked so great and the seasoning and flavor was on point. This was one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had, and I’m not usually a fan of salmon. When both dishes arrived, I thought the portions were a little small(used to giant portions in the U.S.), but as we started eating, the portions were perfect. Tiramisu– really creamy and decadent and rich. Super delicious Our service was English-friendly and pretty attentive by French standards. We regret not coming back here on our last night in Paris!

During our week’s stay in Paris, we were fortunate to enjoy this lovely restaurant several times. Whenever we returned, staff greeted us as dear friends and ushered us to the best tables. It was fun to see the gentle competition among servers to see who would get our table. We ate at many restaurants during our stay but none was better than the Bosquet — this restaurant became our source for comparing other restaurants. Their Onion soup is milder(to me) — not quite as heavy or rich — as other restaurants we enjoyed. Also, their staff will work with you to order items not already grouped as a meal on their menu, so you can customize your dinner a bit without excessive cost. It’s located on the corner of Bosquet and Champs du Mars, within easy walking distance to L’eiffel Tower(5 or 10 mins) and the Cler district(5 mins). Their prices are usual for this kind of restaurant. Dinner for two persons averaged about 55 € after 10% tip. As with other restaurants, be aware that each cup of coffee is charged as a separate item. I highly recommend the Bosquet Café to anyone looking for a great meal of traditional French cooking!

This is a place where all Rick Steves drones come to eat while visiting Paris, or so it seems. Americans definitely outnumber the French here in multiples. . but it’s the more sophisticated sort — you know, the Rick Steves followers, not the Sarah from Alaska type(no disrespect intended). Because of their clientele, all the staff speak English well, which removes the anxiety that all of us who speak not a lick of French feels walking into a restaurant in France. Menu is translated in English as well. It is conveniently located only blocks from Rue Cler and a really good value for your Euro. During our visit, they were offering a 3-course prix-fixe for a mere € 22. Compared to other places nearby, this is by far the best quality and value around. As for the food, it’s pretty good. I had the duck confit both times because the boys just loved the crispy skin with the tender meat. Yes, I only got a few bites of my entrée both times but I ended up eating the rest of the pommes frites that comes with the kids meal. For a stress free and best bang for your Euro meal, Le Bosquet is the place to go.
