Loved this place! Happened upon it quite randomly, it was just the closest studio to where I was staying. I had never done Bikram before but had been practicing yoga for a long time so I thought I’d give it a try. They also had a good deal for a 3-day pass. The studio is extremely nice. My french was a little rusty but the owner was welcoming and the teacher for the class was friendly and gave me some assistance in english when I couldn’t pick up on some of the cues(this was nice because it was listed as a french-only class). Despite the fact that I’d never done Bikram before and was taking guidance in a second language, I had a great workout. I’ve been to a few other Bikram studios since and this was certainly the nicest.

I agree that the space is lovely. It’s clean, new and very zen with free lockers in the changing rooms, free use of yoga mats and a nice ‘transition room’ that you can access before class. The practice room has large windows so a lot of natural light coming in. Definitely one of the nicest studios I’ve come across in Paris. The Bikram classes are standard and well taught overall. I went to classes taught by Dana and Sachiko and both were very good. The flow classes with Sachiko were really nice as has a gentle but firm command of the class and even finishes with an «Om». Very enjoyable overall. Frederic(the owner?) is nice but his classes are a DISASTER. I went to both his flow and Yin classes. He spent half the Yin class just talking, then went around aggressively pushing body parts into place. I personally don’t like being touched and especially not in a manner that could cause injury! His flow class was even worse. He was so concerned about showing off his chaturangas that he didn’t even teach them properly(skipped the part where you lower yourself to the ground). Then in a downward dog, he came to «correct» me, which consisted of him putting his entire hands between my upper thighs!!! I immediately told him I didn’t want to be corrected(and felt incredibly violated). His ego then seemed to be bruised because he rushed through the rest of class without even looking at the students. One of them actually just stood up and watched him do his yoga routine because she was so lost. He should just stick to running the studio, not giving classes! I highly suggest he refrain from inappropriately touching students as well.

I’ve tried Bikram yoga many places in Thailand and North America and have never enjoyed it. This studio has changed my opinion of Bikram. The space is beautiful and clean, even the showers are great — there are lots of showers, it’s extremely clean and they even have hair dryers. The front desk staff and instructors are extremely nice — especially as my French is not that great. There are a mix of people in the classes which I enjoy as well. Everyone has been nice and polite — there no are cliques here. I’ve taken classes in English & French and enjoyed both though I don’t understand everything in French. If you enjoy yoga you should take classes here. I hope I can find a Bikram studio this great when I’m back in NYC.
