Alles sauber. Kein Frühstücksangebot. In der Nähe aber viele Möglichkeiten vorhanden. Ideales Sightseeinghotel für kleines Budget.

Hotels in Paris are extremely expensive, but since I managed to find quality hotels in every other city for a reasonable price I thought Luxelthe wouldn’t be so bad. This dingy hotel is down some side street, not far from Moulin Rouge and looks like a hostel. Knowing it’s location, you can expect it won’t be such a great hotel. The owners were not very friendly and didn’t speak much English. For some reason, they insisted on collecting our keys every time we left even though they had a copy. I like my privacy when I travel, and this was a huge violation of it. There are no elevators so you must drag your bags up narrow, poorly lit steps. There was no soap or other amenities(no fridge, AC, or even a hot pot), but we did have an awfully placed hairdryer(which was like a gas station vacuum) that kept falling off the wall. We had to rubberband it to the wall to keep it there. Worst of all there was no privacy sign. I had to make my own do not disturb sign which they promptly removed every day. The first day they ignored it and insisted on ‘cleaning’ room ie make bed and leave window open. We were a little concerned when returned to an open window considering you can hop over to our room from the stairwell if the window is open. The service wasn’t the worst part though. The room above us had an extremely loud and squeaky floor so you could hear EVERY motion going on upstairs all day. I could even here someone yawn. Needless to say, I didn’t sleep well here. It may be cheaper than most Paris hotels and have a convenient location, but it is not worth the horrible rooms. I would skip this place entirely and pinch your pennies elsewhere.
