Maimouna et Mandela

J’ai voulu y aller mais le resto n’existe plus, il a été remplacé par un autre qui né m’a pas donné envie d’y rentrer. Dommage.

Maimouna et Mandela moved up the street to 52 bis Rue Clignancourt. There is not big sign above the store, but there are two posters in the windows with the menu.
This is my first time eating at a West African restaurant. I tried the yassa poulet, which is rice, chicken, and an onion/​tomato sauce. It was very delicious and filling.
I did not see any vegetarian options on the menu. My yassa sauce tasted like it had MSG in it.

Un des meilleurs restaurants africains que j’ai pu tester, les plats sont riches en découvertes pour veux qui souhaitent s’initier à la cuisine africaine, et très bien aussi pour les connaisseurs qui né seront jamais déçus. Le serveurs ont toujours des recommandations pertinentes en fonction de vos préférences épicées.

Yum! I live in the neighborhood so I’m constantly on the hunt for the best maffe nearby. I’ve only ever gotten takeout from here, but the service is always friendly and quick. Food is only 6euro a plate and huge portions. Compared to some of the other similar restaurants in the area, the meat is always tender and delicious. If you’re looking for a fine dining experience, this is not it, but it’s a great stop for someone who wants tasty and interesting food quick and on a budget.
P. S. If you haven’t tried African food before, I’d recommend sticking with maffe or yassa for the first time. I don’t think the menu is translated into English, though I’m sure they’d be happy to help you figure it out. I’d definitely recommend this place to tourists in the Montmartre area who want to try something new.

This food was amazing! 5 euros for a plate of food so big I had to take some to go. Also the amazing drinks are only 1 euro! I had the homemade ginger drink and the homemade hibiscus drink, both were top notch. Ask for Adam when you are there, tell him ILBB sent you!

C’est petit et sans prétention mais on a droit à une bonne cuisine africaine. Accueil détendu, p’tits prix et bonne ambiance, un endroit où les habutués viennent et reviennent. Possible de prendre à emporter ce qui permet de passer des soirées épicées à la maison!

Ce petit restaurant du quartier Montmartre vous emportera dans les contrées africaine .Très connu dans le milieu africain Parisien ce restaurant propose le plat a 5 €. Lorsque j’y ai diné c’était dans la salle du bas qui est plus appropriée aux groupes .Les gens se côtoient s’apprécient, peuvent même se parler d’une table à l’autre.
L’ambiance est africaine, très conviviale. Un fond de musique africaine vous met tout de suite dans le bain. Au niveau des plats les couleurs et saveurs inconnues sont au rendez vous. On y mange trés bien.

Une adresse très courue des africanophiles du tout-​Paris. Le plat est a 5 euros et une salle au sous-​sol reçoit les groupe d’amis ou de futurs amis. Rythme des gouts et des couleurs garanti.
