My husband and I rented an apartment in the 11th for a week, and this fantastic little bakery was right around the corner from us. Our first night there we got some sweets to take back to the apartment, which included an éclair, some macarons and this delicious little tartelette that was filled with pastry cream and topped with strawberries, raspberries and some VERY tart red berries. In the middle of the week we grabbed a baguette to snack on before dinner, and I took the whole thing down in about ten minutes(I thoughtfully shared approximately four bites with my husband). Our final night we got some more sweets to go, including more macarons, another éclair and a shortbread concoction with raspberries and powdered sugar. My husband’s only complaint is that neither of the eclairs had custard filling(one was mocha and the other was chocolate) but that takes nothing away from the fact that everything was delicious! If you are staying in the neighborhood, or just happen to find yourself needing a sugar fix in the 11th, then I can highly recommend this bakery.

Had the BEST croissant I have ever had in my entire life from this bakery. Bought 5 for the plane ride home haha. The key is to go early in the morning. I was lucky enough to have one while it was still a little warm and OH. MY. GOD. it was the perfect amount of flaky(lightly crispy) on the outside and soft and buttery n layered on the inside. NOTHING has compared to this croissant. I had some that were not warm out of the oven and they are not as good but still fantastic compared to toronto. It comes either as a butter croissant or margarine but like REALLY only a fool would not get a butter one. Their brioche suisse is also AMAZING. Been dreaming of the croissants since I’ve been home. Take me back to paris!

I was asked to go to Paris and I decided I haven’t had fantastic bread in a long time so agreed to go! Earlier in the day I was at a bakery that claimed to be the 4th or 5th best bakery in Paris and they definitely delivered! Comparing this places baguette to the bakery from earlier in the day I would have to say this place has a better crust but doesn’t have the soft buttery interior the other baguette had. Don’t get me wrong it was still fantastic but I definitely liked the other place better. Funny enough I realized that I had been to this bakery years prior after I ate their bread :) Thank you France for making the worlds best bread so that I could enjoy on this trip.
