This tiny take away spot i s next to the hotel where I am staying. They have a little bit of everything and all of it is amazing. Cold salads, warm dishes. They will warm stuff up for you so that you can take it and eat it even if you don’t have access to a microwave oven. Just note: It’s pretty darn pricey. If you choose right, you could have a nice lunch for one person for about 10 euros. Choose wrong and you are looking at 18 euros. Check the prices.

OK, you have go here. This is a take out place so here’s my recommendation. There is something here for almost everyone. They have fish, meat and great vegetable dishes all prepared all sold deli-style. I suggest you go in pick up a few things, perhaps a bottle of wine as well. Go next door and grab a baguette. Then make you way over the jardin du Luxembourg and have a picnic.

We’re now 2 for 2 with this place. It’s not far from our apartment and I think this will be our official ‘go to’ spot for casual lunches. The first time we went, one of the MANY gourmet treats they had were quenelles. Quenelles just happen to be one of my favorite things that I ate in Lyon over 9 years ago. I was really excited to introduce my boyfriend to them. He now loves quenelles(though he can never remember the word). Simply put… delicious seafood dumplings with a seafood sauce. Today, Brian and I became fans of the stuffed tomatoes with rice. He also got an orzo salad that he loved. I can’t wait to get my co-worker some rice pudding that they had. And I am looking forward to my sister being here so we can get the pistachio crème brûlée!
