I really like Mamma Roma, it’s friendly and delicious and not expensive at all. The vegetable dishes are also quite good.

Great neighborhood place to get some unique slices of pizza with fresh ingredients. Variety changes daily. Reasonably priced, especially for this neck of the woods. Also lovely salad options. The kiddos love it!

Mon avis porte en fait sur leur adresse à Oberkampf.
J’ai tenté Mamma Roma sur les conseils d’une amie qui avait connu la chaîné en Belgique (pays d’origine de la chaîné). Ces mots: pour pas chère, tu te casses le bidou. Du coup, je me sens concerné et je tente.
J’ai pris le menu le plus chère (merci les tickets resto). Pour 12,90 € on a deux parts de pizza, une boisson et un dessert.
He ben c’était pas désagréable. J’aime bien la pâte fine et aérienne, et puis la garniture était bonne et en quantité. Le dessert c’était une focaccia au nutella, et elle est vraiment sympathique pour le coup.
Bref c’est pas une adresse de folie pour qui est un fan absolu de la pizza, mais pour une pause déj ça passé carrément. Et, en effet, tu sors bien calée ;)

Very good and original pizza style, never seen it anywhere before. It’s a thick but extremely light crust which I highly enjoy now. Making it crunchy yet soft at the same time.
I liked the idea but not the pricing, when i saw him weigh the pizza and ended up paying 20euros for 3 smallish slices of pizza… but if you go durning the lunch special its a good deal.
If you do show up there, you definitely need to try the Nutella pizza for desert, it’s one of the best deserts I’ve ever had.

Good pizzas, dishonest people.
We had three slices of (excellent) pizzas to take-​away and it costed us € 17 — well, we thought it was a bit too much, but the quality of the ingredients could make up for it.
However, we were super disappointed to see that a good third of each slide was crust, because we were the first customers to be served a slice that day hence we were given the corner of the pizza. I love crust, but I wanted to eat pizza!
Plus the waiters are not great — they totally ignored us for a good 2 minutes while discussing their plans for the evening.

The wife and I arrived in Paris and were both tired and hungry, so we wandered down the street from our apartment and found this place. What a great find. It’s a casual pizza/​Italian place that has both inside eating and take away. We each got a pizza square, plus all the antipasta we could fit on a plate, and a drink for 10 Euro each. It was a great deal, but even better when you consider how fresh the veggies were and how light and flavorful the pizza crust was. The tomatoes and mozzarella was especially good. It was the perfect meal when you are tired and hungry-​not too much, but really tasty and not very expensive. We will return during our stay in Paris.

Mamma Roma, ça avait l’air pas mal, vu de loin.
Je me présente à 14h35, et je me vois «gentiment» refuser la formule lunch qui se termine à 14h30, bon, pas très commerçant, c’est le jeu. Mais il y a le ton pour le dire, «Beh non il est pas 14h30». bof j’ai connu mieux.
Du coup, sans formule, ça devient beaucoup moins intéressant. Je m’en sors avec une PART de pizza et une boisson pour 10 euros. Le tout dans un accueil froid, l’italien est loin. La pizza n’est pas mal, pas mal du tout, mais la pâte est grasse et plus américaine qu’italienne.
Bref, en formule, ça peut passer, mais je né m’y arrêterai plus…

Je veux dire moi, pas forcément vous
Je veux dire, si ce que vous mangez tous les jours à Paris s’appelle «pizza», donc vous allez trouver que Mamma Roma est un peu bizarre.
Si comme moi, vous êtes toujours en quête d’un pizza à la romaine… vous allez adorer!
Pas cher du tout.
2 personnes, 2 menus, l’un avec antipasti, l’autre avec dessert et nous avons payé le tout 26 €, pas mal.
