Sloooooooow service. I ordered on screen and went up to pay for my order at 11:59. Stood there by the counter and waited for food till 12:16. Finally decided not to keep quiet and make a loud statement«I have been waiting for 17 minutes». A female manager came out and took my numbered receipt. I saw her gather all three items behind the counter and handed the tray to me. No apologies. Not even a soft«I am sorry». Obliviously this is a badly mismanaged place. In my country, the manager would be fired!

People often laugh at me when I say that when visiting different Countries I gotta visit McDonalds! OK, You can stop laughing now too!, Yeah we all know the level of high quality food Organic, Grass fed Beef… oh wait, never mind… it’s McDonalds! In general I’ve found that each Country has their own twist on the traditional menu, and although the UK’s menu was the same as in the US they did have«Fish Fingers» aka Fish Sticks, so I didn’t bother reviewing McD’s in London… but France didn’t disappoint. BUTTHEPRICES!!! Le M au Bleu Le M au Bleu(€ 8.50) =($ 9.13US) Pricy for McDonalds but a nice burger! puts US McDonalds to shame, don’t know what exactly the beef is but it’s lean and tasty for what it’s worth the burger was square to fit the beautiful Artisanal Ciabatta type bun, nice piece of Bleu Cheese(yeah I’m sure this is no high quality bleu cheese, but the flavor was good) and topped with fresh Lettuce & Tomato
Fries were similar to those in the US, nice and crisp, it’s one and done for me but I’d recommend any tourist come check them out… McDonalds also sells Macaroons but I’ll wait until I hit Ladurée

Did I go to Paris to eat at McDonald’s? Absolutely not! However, I stepped in to see what was going on and if the menu was the same. It was crowded and the self-service order machines were all being used to place orders. Then, I saw that they served bakery goods! Needless to say, I was excited because I wanted a muffin to go with my coffee the next morning in the hotel room. I purchased a cinnamon swirl and lemon muffin. The muffins were a satisfying size and the price wasn’t bad at all. I am giving this McD’s 4 stars only because I didn’t sample anything else they had on the menu.

Okay seriously I had to… My mom and I were exhausted our first day of traveling here and wanted something quick, cheap and familiar so that we didn’t have to spend too much time making a decision. Voila! McDonald’s! We walked into surprised at all the technology around us. There are stations to order at and even though we selected English as our language we couldn’t manage to get it work. Go figure, We ended up waiting in line and ordering with the cashier who fortunately knew enough English to explain that a fish filet sandwich with tartar sauce is 2 euros more than one with ketchup. Of course I wanted the one with tartar so I paid a little more than I expected but hey… It was fine. The food actually tasted exactly the same. The bread was fresher. Just a tad. BUT they do sell macaroons! They just ran out by the time I got there. BOO. All in all, it was like home. Just much nicer. Minus the horrendous coed bathrooms. Yikes… For the restaurant being so clean and nice, the bathrooms or toillets I should say were unacceptable!

It is really nice and organized! The guy at the booth was skinny, he spoke perfect English, he knew I wanted something healthy, the Mcafe was conviently located near the cashiers, & the Mcdonalds here are very fattning & causing skinny people to crave Mcdonalds & become fat or even become broke like the people you see walking through the drive thrus asking for money. Good job Paris! You hire better employees & make things less fattening for people who eat at Mcdonalds a lot. I like that!

So I have this tradition of trying McDonalds in every country I visit. Believe it or not the burgers tasty different from place to place. So in tge fashion of Pulp Fuction I tried a Royal Cheese, fries, and a Coke. Im happy to report that all was tasty and even better tasting than we get in the USA.

Coming from the States, this was definitely one of the nicer McDonald’s that I have visited, and I was actually quite impressed by this location. It’s a little bit pricier than I would expect from back home, but for some reason even the normal food items like the Big Mac taste a little different and probably even better here for some reason. They also have a McCafe here where you can buy little macarons, and to be honest they were not that bad if you want to give it a try when you’re in the area. They also have these cool kiosks where you can order your food and then you can just bring your receipt up to the counter when you pick up your meal so that you don’t have to stand in line. They do get pretty packed at this location at all hours of the day because we came in just for a snack at a non-meal time, so finding a seat might be hard even though there are two floors.

I don’t want to give even one star to them. This McDonald’s on Avenue des Champs-Élysées is the worst I have ever used in the world. The employees are very rude and impolite. They don’t understand whom they are serving. They got no sense of «who the customer is». First of all, the menu display over the counter is confusing in terms of what is available now. Whatever food I tried to order from the menu was declined because they said«it starts from 11:00 am», but no statement about the time rule was shown. I suggested them to improve the display, but they seemed to say each other«this guy is crazy». Second. I know we all should not expect the greater level of service quality for McDonald’s. This is only a fast food restaurant. But this Mc is much more impolite than I can admit because of this low quality of serving customer. Finally we u-turned and left this Mc. No purchasing. The fact is they could not earn money, but I know they don’t care about it.

Staff there are very rude and impolite. I tried to take a picture there and they will jump out on you and tell you to delete it without telling you why. Very very mean. I mean, this is a tourism area and if you don’t want people to take picture there you should put a sign there saying so. This one is probably the worse McDonald in the world.

WOW… sooooo you can either order through the front… OR with the machines! How cool! I spent more time at this McDonald’s than I’d care to admit as it was just a few blocks from my apartment in Champs Elysees and it has a few hidden perks. First of all, macarons here are just 1 Euro each and nothing to scoff at. They are honestly pretty good here although admittedly not as good as most of the patisseries. Macarons isn’t all they have either, they have an entire baked goods section… the.bomb.com. Second, there is a window next to a high 4 top on the second floor. It has a pretty view out on the street including a slightly obstructed view of The Eiffel Tower. My friends and I went last night after dinner for some hot drinks to watch the sparkling Eiffel Tower(every hour, on the hour, it sparkles for 5 minutes). There is always a lot of seating and enough workers to keep the line moving smoothly, not to mention a special computerized way of ordering(EasyOrder) if you want it to be a bit more quick. Why don’t McDonalds in the states have that?! It’s super cool! Sizes are ever so different in France than the US… no super sizing and their Large is like our Medium. It’s a lot of fun to see the differences between something so simple as McDonald’s including specialized menu items like Le Oriental(we had to do it), special cheese sandwiches, Le Mixte(ham & cheese) 4,50 euros, just very cool different items. This location was our personal favorite during our trip and recommend it to others. Oh and they serve beer! :D

McDonald’s? I don’t eat there at home if I can help it. Why in Paris? Bathrooms, that’s why. Tromping down the Champs d’Elysees, we had to stop. And they know this, so the bathrooms were hidden. Protip: go straight in, and turn left past the macaron counter. Speaking of macarons, we got some, maybe from guilt, and they were actually pretty good. Not great, but hey, a helluva lot better than I expected at McD’s. And for 1E, a bargain.

I saw that McDonald’s was selling french macarons so of course I had to try it. Cheaper than other places but I think you can taste the difference. The texture was a bit gummy rather than light, airy, and crisp. It was also full of filling and way too sweet.

As if Champs-Elysées couldn’t get anymore touristy, along comes what might be the most expensive McDonalds in Paris. Fast food has become the quintessential comfort food for international folks — ones of which either have happy meal loving children or are too intimidated to dine locally. So Ronald McDonald Paree style it is. Before one goes and starts ordering Royale with cheese( ), know the menu is definitely doable in English. Along with that comes their regional items, which are usually all things not found in the US chain. An example would be their macaroons, which they offer in a variety of flavors. Did I mention they sell beer here too? Suddenly Mickey D’s doesn’t sound so bad. The ultimate taste test will forever be their burger. A regular plain burger tasted surprisingly light compared to the heavy(but now on the dollar menu!) US version. The beef patty was thin and certainly tasted different(but not worse) than the average fast food burger. The assortment of macaroons may be generic, but they’re not bad for only 5 Euros. Service is understandably not the best, but you try working all day serving potentially demanding tourists. We have a similar one in New York( ), which encounters much of the same issues that might one day plague this Parisian location. As long as the Euro maintains its high international courtesy value, it’s easy to be tempted to come to McDonalds to save a few bucks. Hence, long live Le Big Mac!

I’ve heard about McDo carrying macarons and needed to check it out for myself. Only select branches have them in their McCafe. In terms of uniformity and looks, they look great. I tried one of each flavor and if I had to choose one to like then it would be the vanilla one. The overall texture was kinda dry and lots of chewing was involved. I had my SLR with me that day, so the shots look pretty good.

Of course it’s A-OK 3 stars — what did you expect? Consider this a five star rating for the fast food conglomerate. You get what you pay for and your expectations are always met. I’d probably give 4 star rating, though, to the McDonald’s at the PIazza de Spagna in Rome just for the mere aesthetics and architecture. Maybe 4 stars to McDonald’s on Broadway in NYC, too. Anyway — Champs Elysses McDonald’s — crowded as hell. I can always find a seat though, as they clearly have enough tables to accommodate their business(go to the second floor — don’t bother fighting for a first floor seat, unless you are THAT determined to people watch, which I get). If you haven’t traveled to Europe before, do not expect ice in your fountain beverage. Ask for it if you must, but I do as the locals and just drink it «cool» without ice. I love that Evian is an option for beverage for your meal or happy meal. If you order Chicken McNuggets and you want«Sweet and Sour» sauce, just trust the cashier. They gave me a «red» sauce cup which to me indicated BBQ sauce, so I insisted that they give me a «green» sauce cup too. The red said, «Asian sweet sauce» or something like that and AHHA it is the same as the US Sweet and Sour sauce. The green packet was… just not it. I don’t even remember — maybe something creamy or just plain not what I wanted. Anyway, this was maybe 4 years ago and when I went to this McDonald’s in ’09, I did not order me some nuggets, so I can’t tell you if the packaging has changed. You’ll just have to figure it out for yourself!

OMG!!! This particular MCD’s is a two-story restaurant. The staircase is very pretty and memorable too. The location is fabulous because it’s near the Arc de Triomphe! The place does get crowded with the tourist and the locals. Love it!!! The Value Menus here have more items than the U.S.(mainly different style of the meat prepared with the bun.) Everything tasted the same, except for the ketchup. The ketchup packages is a lot bigger than the U.S., but it tasted funny. I think they put less chemicals, and that’s why it tastes different. Man, did it taste good when you first bite into the Big Mac… Mmmmmmmmmm! LOL! The place is little dirty form the floor to the tables. I feel bad for the employees who works there because it’s always freakin’ busy!!! Anywho, can’t wait to come back here!!!

Right on the Champs-Élysées and within sight of the Arc de Triomphe, this McDonald’s is always crowded full of locals and tourists, and it shows. If you don’t step in a puddle of soda, you might see discarded food on a table. Not the cleanest, but, still, those who eat here do so to save a few Euros. They probably like McDonald’s, too. Lines move fast, and ordering happens with minimal fuss.(I proudly ordered in my best French, but apparently my accent/appearance gave me away: the cashier answered me in English.) Nothing’s wrong with indulging in a Big Mac in Paris, but something’s wrong if you run into a McDonald’s like the devil was hot on your trail, buy a burger, run out, and inhale it on the Metro.(Not that we did that.)
