Melia Colbert

When arrived at the Colbert, I was tickled pink, it looked exactly like the pictures, the little fence with courtyard leading up the front doors, tucked away on a side street but if you look up one of the side streets you see none other than the Notre Dame Cathedral. The hotel is classic I love all the detail of the building. Its located within a 5 mintue walk of the Metro station down at Saint Michel and navaigating Paris from the Colbert is easy, you are able to get everywhere.
Went to the front desk and was greeted by a very helpful lady, I wish I caught her name, she was soo friendly and helpful, also was greeted with a glass of champagne, check in was extremely easy, after a few minutes was handed the room key, took the lift to the 1^st floor because of the luggage, hope you like your traveling mate because the lift up will be a cozy ride.
Made it to the room, reservations were made for 2 beds, and this room had 2 beds, but the room was on the small side, but what it was in size it had in beauty, I loved opening up the huge window and looking out on to the streets of Paris, even the bathroom had huge windows that opened up to a view of the courtyard & side street.
Staff was always friendly, I really enjoyed my stay at the Colbert, yes the room was small, but it was great. When I checked out I was asked if I got anything from the minibar, I just looked at him shocked, where the heck was that minibar and why didn’t I find it haha, but I told him no, nothing form the minibar.
When coming back to Paris, I will book this place again and maybe find that minibar.

Fabulous hotel, service, accommodations and location. This was the best for our first time in Paris.

Petit hotel de charme, rue colbert, j’aime ces petits endroits encore préservé, la rue est très calme en sens unique; les chambres sont adorable, et le personnel très serviable, vraiment un très bel endroit pour séjournéer dans la capital, à deux pas de Notre Dame de Paris. OM
