Amazing Indian food. First thing is that it’s quite posh in there which is quite refreshing from other Indian establishments. The food was a 8⁄10. Service was very professional and they spoke English quite well. Very surprised to find this quality restaurant.

Quiet and personable restaurant that seats about 30 people maximum. Authentic Indian at a decent Paris price. I had the paneer and it was perfect.

Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, CA
This Indian food was just OK to good. We tried to get away from the rich buttery Parisian French food for one night, but missed with this place. We’ve had better Indian in Los Angeles and London.
Nice atmosphere and solid service. We got the Veggie Samosas, Chicken Tikka Masala spicy, with Aloo Gobi, Basmati with nuts, and Garlic Naan. If you like Indian beer, they have Kingfisher.
The Samosa was great, served with shredded carrot and a variety of sauces and chutneys. The aloo gobi was great too.
However, the chicken tikka masala was only mediocre at best, and they failed to remove heavy aromatic spices from it and the rice, like bay leaves and whole cloves and coriander seeds. The tikka masala sauce didn’t have a lot of depth of flavor.
I did not find it as expensive as others did. Prices as expected in this part of paris.

Petit restaurant au décors plutôt sobre, la cuisine et bonne et délicatement parfumée. Nous avons été très bien accueilli, le service est rapide. Et tout ça pour un prix plus que raisonnable, je n ai rien à redire.

Best Indian food I’ve had in Paris.
Here’s why:
— The papadum is spicy and crispy and they give you a ton of it from the get go.
— Lots of vegetarian options.
— The cheese nan is out of this world.
— The dishes are fresh and well cooked — the matar paneer is amazing.
— If you ask for spicy, you actually get spicy. Woohoo!
— Flavorful rice.
— The interior décor could be likened to the inside of an exotic, golden chest. It’s like a hole-​in-​the-​wall temple.
Plus the prices are totally reasonable. My two friends and I had a feast for 70 € total.

I am writing the this review to help Fellow Unilocalers so they do not fall into the same trap I did — Don’t believe the hype, haha!
Bottom line this food is average at best. The prices are ridiculous for the level of taste (this is Indian Food isn’t it). The ambiance — nothing special either.
If you want Indian food — I am sure there are other places in Paris or better yet satisfy your craving when you get back home. I am sure back home, where ever that may be will have «decent» Indian spots that are better than this place and for the price!

It is a nice cozy restaurant with a really nice décor. A short walk away from Musee du Louvre (and just behind Musee d’Orsay), my wife and I stumbled upon this restaurant after an exhausting day at the museum. The food was good. The service was a little slow although there were only a few customers. They did not have any of the desserts listed on the menu, hence the reduced rating.

This is a somewhat high-​end restaurant. It’s very small with just one aisle of tables, has a cozy/​intimate feeling, and an interesting traditional décor. By the time we got there, it was quite late and they were about to close, but the owner let us in.
The food taste was sub-​par, but maybe that is because I had ordered my food without onions and garlic, so it was not a regular recipe for them. I was disappointed that I was served rice with onions in it even though I had specifically asked for food without onions and garlic.

My wife and I found this wonderful restaurant after visiting the Musee d’Orsay. It’s about a five minute walk from the museum, and was open during the day when everything else was closed. Ask for the English menu if you need it.
We ordered Indian Iced Tea, Lamb Curry, Chicken Dumpling Curry and Naan. All was fantastic!

Super restaurant indien ! Une fois la porte passée, vous vous retrouverez dans un décor digne d’un temple indien, à la fois chaleureux et intimiste. Vous né manquerez pas d’apprécier la grande diversité des plats que le restaurant propose. Le restaurant Ravi, c’est le soleil dans votre assiette !

Ravi is a total gem in Paris’ St. Germaine neighborhood. It’s tiny, the décor is ornate, and the food is excellent. I would go so far as to say this is the most romantic restaurant I’ve ever dined at and the best Indian I’ve ever had They served us a glass of champagne (on the house) as we looked over the menu. I ordered the chicken tikka masala, palak paneer, and aloo gobi. When the bill arrived it came in a small, closed, hand painted box served on a silver platter. What.

Dans un cadre digne des plus beaux temples indiens vous découvrirez les saveurs de la cuisine indienne aux mille épices. Un délice pour les yeux et les papilles. La cuisine est délicieuse et les parts copieuses. Faîtes y une halte si vous aimez la cuisine exotique.

Bön un peu long cependant
Très bonne cuisine indienne, il faut cependant être très patient. Il semblerait que la qualité ait un peu diminué, cela reste un bon souvenir. Attention au prix, nous sommes dans le 7ème… Très attentif au désir des clients concernant les épices (que l’on demande une cuisine pas trop épicée ou très relevée on est très bien servi !) ce qui est agréable !!

Un beau décor qui mériterait une mise à jour. Cuisine pas meilleure que celle du restaurant indien parisien lambda, seulement un peu plus chère. A retenir pour un premier rendez-​vous romantique si l’autre n’est pas trop difficile.

Bön mais cher
C’est un peu l’inconvénient de ces restos indiens milieu/​haut de gamme. En accumulant les entrées, nan (gallettes de pain), lassi (boisson à base de lait fermenté), plat principal, accompagnement (très bons au passage) + éventuellement dessert et un peu de vin, on fait tout de suite exploser le budget (~50−60 euros par personne). Ok c’est bon, et peut être que j’ai une vision colonialiste rétrograde, ou qu’il me manqué un élement, mais pourquoi est-​ce aussi cher? J’y suis allé un vendredi ou samedi soir, cet été, un peu avant 22 heures, nous étions la seule table. Donc forcément, service très attentionné ! Niveau déco, pas mal de boiseries sculptées, mais je trouve que c’est trop sombre et tristounet. Bref c’est bon, certes, mais est-​ce que ça vaut la peine de payer autant???

Cest bon comme là-​bas !
Le Murg tikka (poulet tikka) de l’entrée vaut franchement le déplacement. C’est bon, un peu chéro et le service est nickel (on m’a offert une demi-​bouteille de saumur champigny parce que je demandais un simple verre et qu’il n’en avait pas). Ca nous a rappelé notre virée à Bombay en avril dernier.
