This was our favorite meal from start to finish during our one week trip to Paris. Every dish was beautifully presented and delicious! The owner is delightful and very friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Paris. We celebrated my husband’s birthday here.

The was our best meal in Paris. Be sure to make a reservation or you risk being turned away. This is a husband(chef) and wife(hostess/waitress) establishment. There were four in our party so we made sure to order a different meal so we could share. I had the sea bass entrée and tangerine and grand marnier for dessert. The hubby had beef and potatoes entrée and foie gras-smoked duck salad with cheese cake dessert. We loved every bite. The food was clean, simple, and delicious. Do not hesitate to reserve a table here you will not be disappointed. Thank you so much for such a memorable experience. :)

For our last dinner in Paris we went to a restaurant around the corner from our hotel. We made reservations a couple weeks ago. When we got there, there was a large table there but that was all. There was only one server there though, which I have found to be pretty normal. She was nice enough to take our order before the table of 18, which I appreciated. For the appetizers, BF got the gazpacho soup with parmesan cheese, and I got the tomatoes with mozzarella cheese. His was good, mine was ok. Mine looked prettier than it tasted. The tomatoes were kinda tasteless. Then for the main I got roasted sea bream with zucchini coconut sauce, and BF got duck confit with orange sauce. My fish was good, not fabulous, but good. BF felt the same about his duck. For dessert I got the apple tart tatin and BF got the pistachio mousse with strawberries. The pistachio mousse was really good. The apple tart tatin was awful. I wish I could’ve swapped it out, but I don’t know that the French do that kind of thing since I had not had a single dish I didn’t like the whole time I was there. It was a somewhat disappointing last meal, to be honest. Not bad, but nowhere near great. The service was good though.

Close(ish) to the Eiffel Tower, great price and great food. 30 € for a 2 course meal, 34 € for a 3 course. Got artichoke and duck liver salad as a starter, duck breast in raspberry sauce as the main dish. Everything was cooked well, and I even liked the vegetables. Run by 1 super efficient hostess and 2 chefs in a tiny kitchen, the whole restaurant is very small. The atmosphere is unpretentious, you can wear anything, you don’t need a reservation, and the food and service are excellent. For 30 €, I don’t know if you can ask for more.

Great little place very close to the Effiel Tower. As many of the reviews suggest this is run by one incredibly efficient host — she is clinical in her timing and very attentive. The food is spectactular and couldnt fault it at all! Would highly recommend — off the beaten track — french food done very well!

Lovely cozy restaurant within a stone’s throw of the Eiffel Tower(as you may have guessed from the name). One woman waits on the whole restaurant and does a great job doing it. Considering the location, and compared to the other restaurants we went to in Paris, this place was fairly inexpensive. Prix fixe was 30 euros. Everyone was thrilled with their dishes — risotto st. jacques, duck confit. Grand mariner souffe(glacé). The Bordeaux we had was superb. Also one of the cleaner, nicer bathrooms of our visit(always worth noting!) Surprisingly, the place seemed filled with locals and as others have noted, you do have to make a reservation a day or two in advance. Also, takes Amex, which is a rarity.

Food was delicious, I think it was a limited dinner menu. I got the Veal Stew and the lady got the Duck Leg both were great dishes, a bit on the pricey side but the waitress was awesome as well!

We were in Paris this April and walking in the Eiffel Tower vicinity in advance of a late evening booking. This was THE best meal of our trip. I loved everything about this restaurant, the ambience, the table settings, the menu, the truly lovely woman who served every table in this intimate restaurant. It was an absolute treat and memorable.

Beautiful & delicate restaurant tucked away on a lovely side street in 7th district, skip Jules Verne, come here. Lamb, fois gras, filet of beef, all wonderful, a treat to find…

Always have fond memories of this place. Close to Eiffel Tower, the food is simple a delicious in classic french bistro surroundings. Small and tucked away but worth the effort to find.

We went here on our last night in Paris, as we were looking for a nice French meal, and this is exactly what we received. Restaurant had a nice atmosphere, service was great and food was fantastic! We made reservations the night before as they fill up pretty quick(they were turning people away when we were there). Since it is located near the Eiffel tower, it seemed to be filled other tourists.(maybe due to great reviews on Unilocal and trip advisor) I had the duck confit and my girlfriend had the steak. Our meals were delicious and by far the best meal we had in Paris. Service was excellent and all handled by 1 woman, who worked extremely hard to keep the filled room happy! We had the fixed menu and with a bottle of wine was around € 100, which was a great deal for the meal we had. Highly recommend this place!

Unpretentious, excellent and incredible would be words I would use to describe the food here at De La Tour. My wife and I tried this restaurant in 2008 and fell in love with the food! The foie gras, the poached figs with ice cream was the clincher, so much so that we wanted to come back another day and it was closed! Darn! We scheduled another holiday to Paris in 2009 and vowed to eat here as many times as we could, which led to three dinners here! Each time trying something new. Our close friends went to Paris last year and we told them that they had to try this place. They heeded our advice and went with friends that lived in Paris but had never tried or even heard of the restaurant. Well my friends, a Parisian who I’m sure knows what good foie gras is, could not contain herself as our friends told us that it was the best that she’s had in Paris! We had made the mistake on our first trip to eat at local brasseries, BIG mistake! Save your Euros and splurge here at Restaurant De La Tour, you will not be disappointed!

This is a great little restaurant with excellent service and food to match. Family run with a changing menu. I broke one of my rules and visited twice in the same week. Not a rule I break that often. On the first visit the special was sweetbreads and I have to say they were probably the best I have eaten. The pan fried Foie Gras was so good I had it the second time too. Highly recommended.
