Si Tu Veux

This is a great toy shop and I recommend it to anyone in Paris with their children. We popped in looking for something for our daughter. It did not disapoint with an adorable magnetic writing tablet. Easy to slip into my purse and interests our child for hours. The clerk told us not for babies but our girl is very very petit and old enough for such a thing. They have waldorf animals as well and I wish I had purchased a fox there. Very cute!
ps: It’s tucked away in a small Galerie so it’s very easy to miss. The Galerie is lovely!

Despite the gluttony of toys on the market it’s really hard to find toys that are not only engaging, fun and age-​appropriate, but pleasant aesthetically as well. Just walk into any toy department and it feel like all your senses are under attack. From the garish colors and cheap materials to the god-​awful sounds that these things emit, you wonder what evil spirit possessed the people who designed them.
That’s why places like Si Tu Veux should be classified as national living treasures because the survival of the human race depends on them!
This oasis of kid calm is aptly located in the chic Passage Vivienne next to other classy shops. The selection here is pitch perfect. Every item seems to have been selected with careful thought and consideration by the owner, a lovely woman who will, if you ask, tell you what kind of toy would be most appropriate for your child given his or her age.
With my little one in tow, she selected a few toys for him to try out and we all agreed on this amazing DNA-​strand-​like construct made out of colored wood and bouncy string that my baby immediately gobbled up and slathered his approval onto.
Not only is it super to look at, it’s also one of his favorite toys. And I’ve never seen it anywhere else so the owner must have chosen it from some obscure manufacturer (or at least that’s what I told myself to justify its slightly elevated price).

Je vais chez si tu veux depuis que je suis toute petite et maintenant j’y emmèné mes enfants. C’est le magasin de jouets à Paris que je recommande à mes amis de province quand ils viennent visiter la capitale. On y trouve plein de jeux éducatifs et rigolos pour pas cher. Le blog de Si Tu Veux est bien dans l’esprit de la boutique, je m’en sers pour avoir des idées de jeu à faire pour les enfants.
C’est le magasin de jouets à Paris qui est le plus sélectionné dans les guides touristiques étrangers car tous les jeux sont bien présentés et les paquets cadeaux sont hyper raffinés. Les enfants peuvent en plus bien s’amuser, car le samedi il y a des jeux pour les enfants type pêche à la ligne et compagnie. On trouve plein d’infos et d’idées de jeux sur le blog
