Menu du jour à 13 EUR. La pintade était succulente. Personnel sympathique. Beau point de vue sur la place et l’ancienne gare du Ranelagh

This isn’t the hip kind of Parisian café, this is old-​school.
Grumpy french woman eating a half-​baguette with her morning coffee; men coming in from the rain to buy cigarettes at the counter or fill out a lotto ticket; the Frenchest of French pop music on the radio; flower-​patterned coffee cups; ancient lighting both warm and grimy.
The coffee was good, though the dump of chocolate powder on top of the cappuccino was a bit odd. Can’t speak to the food, but that baguette did look fresh!
If you’re waiting for the bus in this neighbourhood, it’s not a bad place to stop in.

We really did enjoy dining here because it was welcoming, the food was good and prices were reasonable. On our first night, we decided to come in for dinner. We felt welcomed and although we had the language barrier, the server did her best in trying to communicate with us and we were able to get our order. The server was extremely friendly and she sat us right by the window. The service was prompt and it was a nice, casual dining experience. We decided to come back on our last night and were hoping to get the same server. However, we got an older gentlemen, but he was great too! He attempted to carry a conversation with us and was overall very friendly. We also enjoyed the fact that we had access to wifi. We were able to stay there for a while and relax.

Ce tabac fait bistrot le midi et sert des plats de… bistrot classiques (croques monsieur, steak frites, omelettes).
Bref on sait à quoi s’attendre et parfois c’est exactement d’un steak frites basique, sans chichis et servi à la va-​vite dont on a besoin.
Les prix restent corrects pour le quartier, 8 € pour un steak étonnamment tendre, et ça je né m’y attendais pas.
