Probably the most disappointing part of my visit to Paris, France. I know what you’re thinking, what am I doing getting Japanese food while I’m in France. Welp, you could probably ask the same of the locals, and the answer would be the same: «I feel like getting Japanese food today.» The place is really spacious, with lots of seating, and located on a relatively busy narrow street nearby the Eiffel Tower area. In terms of the food, hands down THEWORST Japanese food I’ve ever eaten! The chirashi bowl had four types of fish, thinly sliced, over a small layer of rice. Definitely not worth it, relative to other chirashi bowls I’ve ordered. The tempura was DISGUSTING! Like a really horrible Chinese restaurant’s fried shrimp and vegetable tempura. The batter tasted really weird, and things were a bit oily. Will not be coming back.

Good but very basic sushi. A nice break from French food if you are in the neighborhood.

A definite Japanese food snob, I was extremely skeptical about eating Japanese food in Paris. After agonizing over the purely French menu, I settled on a bento box and anticipated the arrival of my food. To my surprise, both the miso soup and salad that came before the meal were on point. The bento box was also surprisingly okay, with tuna and salmon sashimi, salmon maki, stir-fried fish, and gyoza. The quality of the salmon sashimi was great, but the tuna had an overly fishy taste that I couldn’t quite swallow. The stir-fried fish tasted very homey, but the gyoza filling was falling apart and had pieces of carrot in it. The box wasn’t the worst that I’ve had, and I ended up having a relatively decent meal!

Great food and affordable prices! The skewers are amazing and the service is wonderful you have to try this place! We were looking for some alternative food while in Paris after trying local food this place was a gem!
