My friend booked this hotel and I had no idea about it until I reached there. When I heard about this place, I thought it would be something very fanciful but I was surprised when I saw it. It’s colourful on the inside but very basic as the room is small and toilet is shared.(don’t worry, there are a few cubicles) Other than that, it’s comfortable and cheap! Very suitable for quick layover. The room I stayed in was a twin bedroom and its a double-decker bed, the bed at the lower deck however has more space but overall I had a good night sleep before heading elsewhere. There is free wifi available and transport to the airport takes around 15 months. Basic hotel highly recommended for budget conscious travellers.

This is a converted dormitory turned hotel! Not an actual hotel! At least it was cheap @ 37 euros + taxes though. I found this one online through Priceline or . Both of them had the«pay when you stay» or «pay at the hotel» option, so I did just that. My experience here was just okay. Definitely could have been way better, but I have stayed with worse. I did thought it was supposedly better than what was actually experienced. I sucked it up, considering that it was a cheap stay and very close to the airport with a free shared airport shuttle. The airport shuttle is the«silver line» and it does 2 hotel drop points before going back to the Charles du Galle airport terminal 2, 5th level. Probably the worse amenity here at this hotel was the shared restrooms. There is no way of flushing the toilet until you open the door when you are done. Maybe that’s Paris for Ya. At least the free wifi was the redeeming quality to this property, although it was spotty at times and the television in my unit caught only 2 channels. I got room# 323 and there was no keycard, but a passcode to enter. Who does that nowadays? Not sure to use the word«backwards», even in Europe, but I even I knew electronic keys or real metal keys would be better than a number code. That’s just me. The Hotel F1 Roissy PN2 is located at 335 rue Belle Etoile, with the airport only 2 miles away, so it was definitely an cheap airport property, just to rest your head for a night. If you are comfortable with brands like Marriott, Sheraton, and Hyatt, this place is 3 major steps down — if that. Maybe more! I don’t think you can get more price sensitive than this property. It’s as cheap as they come. The bright side is that they accept credit cards, even the international ones. It would be very prudent, since you’re next to an international airport! There was only one restaurant that was literally next door to the property. I didn’t have a rental car, so I made due. There was actually a bunk bed in my unit, which was a little surprising, but, not unheard of. I opted to stay grounded and not venture upwards. The bed itself wasn’t too good, but managed roughly 7 hours of sleep before flying out the next morning. This dormitory style motel is fairly clean and my room was clean enough. Very small, but manageable. I didn’t like the shared facilities, but for the price, it had to happen. The overall experience could have been way better, but when you’re on a budget, sacrifices needed to be made. I wouldn’t recommend the hotel F1 Roissy PN2, if you aren’t on travel budgetary restrictions. However, this place was adequate in its basic necessities. Cheap, moderately clean, and decent sleep. But if you are someone like me who enjoys backpacking it and doesn’t mind the major downgrade in comfort and style points, but just a place to relax and rest your head for a good price, this place is ideal. The check in process was speedy, yet there’s no check out process, as the room codes change daily. Be farewarned though, they charge a small fee for breakfast. I opted to grab and go something at the airport awaiting for my flight back to the USA on air france. Solid 2.5 stars, but A-okay, somewhat. Support local! C
